I think it's becos of those who competes in this competition only 3rd/4th team from countries, also lack of information (no website/latest result). until now we don't know who are into Quarter Final.

I don't think so because Surabaya is quite far from Jakarta. Perhaps sugar_free is right.. they are coming for the soccer thingy.. Hahaha.. nvm then. Anyway, they are definitely from China since they've got big letters CHINA printed on their shirts.

It seems like China never send any players to the Indonesian Open. It's not only this year alone. I guess their National Championships is always staged during the Indonesian Open. :)

probably the chinese would also want to prepare for China Open as well. After the not so good outing in the WC.. i'm sure they have something that they need to improve on.

i am now in surabaya but i dont watch the Jawa Pos Gudang Garam satelite...but i watch some of the semi matches in Tv yesterday....today is the final...but it's 9 am and i was sleeping at the moment....
i watched a game between Maria kristin Vs Pia Zubaedah and it was a very tough match...maria won rubber set 11-8, 7-11, 13-11
Pia Zubaedah is not in National Team, just a young girl with great talent, she played like Mia played.....including that " Hypermobility" move......i m sure we will see this young girl more in the next one or two years.....

obviously they will not send if Indonesian open clashes with their nationals! That is a policy in China. All chinese players skipped french open (tennis), just because their nationals clashed with the date.

Anyways, can you guys tell me where I can find qualies results?

Nope >.< 'cause I got another competition going on as well last time. Very near Senayan. I was tempted to run away... hahaha, too bad so many teachers were there. I only attended the semifinals. That was good enough 'cause that was the first badminton championship that I've ever been to.

Guys, i just found out that in the same day as the indonesia open finals, there will also be a soccer final match held in Gelora Bung Karno (beside Istora Senayan). I am really scared to know about that information because soccer fanatics are really crazy, and they are very wild especially if their fave team lost. Do you guys think it is safe to watch the IO finals in the same day they held soccer final?

    It will be safe

    Hey!

Don't be afraid of the soccer match final. Most of the hooligans have gone home already since their team has lost. So don't let anything keep u from watching the badminton game!

Think I will be there too!

    Danish players

Denmark will only have one men's singles. Peter Gade is not coming, even their mates did not know why he was not coming. It was pretty funny. The country will only have one men's singles, two pairs of men's doubles, one pair of women's doubles and mixed doubles. Thats all.
