Cannot say like that... get many SS but no AG or OG is acceptable, because its once every 4 years. It's the WC that MAS fans should be worrying about.

that's why AG or OG is more prestigious than SS...
    in 10 years play badminton
    you can play 10X12 = 120 SS...but only 2-3 AG/OG...

Yup, that's also the reason why it is more 'forgivable' for not winning OG and AG... because the chances for a player max also 3, some only got 2 chance :( While SS many chance to win, cannot say that no AG/OG means player is 'useless', just say that they have not gotten a 'rare' one :p while no WC still can say not 'complete' player, never say useless.

Yup..but imo winning a gold is more worth lor than ss..
its good if player can won both gold and ss title, just imo.. :)you see even TH never won a ss title but he won AG gold,of course it will be more memorable..

That was literally Hayom gesture when he failed to cross the last shuttle chasing the netting from Taufik.....He's a bit 'bowing to Taufik'.....:D

i think you were wrong using "forgivable" for AG/OG :D:D:D

for SS, it's forgivable. coz, there are so many chance.
Let say, when you fail winning 1 SS, someone will say,"Nevermind, there are a lot of chance :). Try again next WEEK/MONTH"

but when you fail winning SG/OG. someone will say, "ouchhhh, you just got 1 chance, and you can not win !!.. ". "You can learn and try again if you still have many chances, but you know, this is the one and the only chance, 4 years later, you will be very old :p, and no one can guarantee that you will qualify again, can you forgive yourself for wasting this only opportunity ???? :p"

..how 'bout the performance by Ratchanok, eh??..back to back GP/GPG titles considering most people thought she was running out of gas..her BF, Mr. Jones, probably inspired her and his baddy posse probably gave her enough support to fight all the way through in the Final..;)
..i notice the word "maybe" in there..;)

In the absence of SDK and SS, TH is obviously king of Indonesian singles players.
I wonder why SDK and SS did'nt participate in the Indonesia Grand Prix Gold 2010 tournament.
It is noted that LN has a new partner in Tontowi Ahmad in the XD and that MK participated in the XD with Lita Nurlita as his partner.
I just hope the new Indonesian pairings will do well in the world stage.

    Thanks for your correction.
I wonder why SDK played so poorly and lost to Misbun's anak in 3 games.

Winning GP tournaments is no small thing but I just hope that TH starts to win SS tournaments, especially the AE singles title.
That will be wonderful for his win records and would rank him as one of the badminton greats and secure for him a place in Badminton's Hall of Fame.
