I did not watch Jonatan vs Alam so I do not know how their performance but looking at the matches lasted 55 for 2 sets, it is typical Alam style of long rallies.

Alamsyah is like energizer bunny, he never gets tired even though he was playing long matches for a few days, so I guess Jo really outsmarted him. Need to play smart to beat him. Of course, there could be injuries too, I don't know.

I never expected Jonathan Christie to beat the much experienced Alamsyah Yunus (that even Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito failed to beat) to win his first ever IC title!

I think he has a cause for inclusion to the WJC squad later this squad.

Jonatan has spirit, and big ambition.
He was looking forward to Alamsyah and already has strategy to beat him.
he is really discipline and his posture support his perfomance.
so no wonder if someday he'll be the top of player in the world.
I hope he'll keep his consistency.
