INDONESIA Open SS Premier 2015 : Entry List & DRAW

For more than a year, no MS has won back-to-back SS tourneys, it's getting harder apparently, and Chen Long had won the AUS Open just a week or so after the Sudirman Cup. Can Chen Long do it? Quite a challenge requiring mental toughness,the ability to stay focused throughout and be on top of his game in addition to the physical demands.

I've no doubt about his physicality and athleticism but not too sure of his mental attitude, the will to win match after match over a long period of time without break (sort of), esp when the going gets tough for whatever reason. The answer will be known soon.

Any update on how tickets are selling now? Do you think I can still but tickets at the official tournament booth when I arrive there on Saturday? I plan to watch the semi-finals and finals on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks!

It´s more like 2,5 years almost since LCW won the KOR and MAS SS in January 2013.

@ dwinski, i just don't think you will ever run out of tickets at the ticketing booth :p just go to the stadium (take a reputable cab, ask the hotel), bring cash in IDR, and watch out the pocket pickers as every where a crowded place like this poses increased risk. Have fun watching live at the stadium...you're a lucky man :D

The ticket prices for semi finals (Sat) and finals (Sun) are the same:

VIP = IDR 500,000; Class 1 = IDR 200,000; Class 2 = IDR 75,000

Exc.rate: USD 1 = IDR 13,200++

Is this pic from this year or last year? I really liked when the courts at INA open were surrounded by all red colors unlike last year when the arena looked so boring and uncharacteristic.

I guess it's taken from last year. Wow, you do care so much about color thing :D i care more about functionality n usability.

Seeing the above agenda, it seems on Wed, 03 June they just stage the remaining XD matches (Round 32), and for other four disciplines the preliminary rounds will start on Thu, 04 June, if so player will have two matches on that day, morning session for R32 then evening one for R16.

BWF TournamentSoftware is too late in posting the match schedule, they should be able to key in the draw results for the preliminary round, with qualifier names added later...but instead they just do when they have ALL info on hand, in that process putting the unnecessary delay and be less informative :confused:
