i am afraid DPY cannot even defend the simpliest of smashes.

Simon is very sharp and accurate today in first set. DPY simply cannot cope with it.
    Hopefully this continues :D

SS playing a simple game, just attack and more attack. and DUPY cannot get to it.

    should be a simple match.

That's how to defeat DPY. Seems DPY loves complex game plan like Sony did :D

Simon's attack doesn't look very offensive, but they are quick. 255, 260km/h.

in any case. DPY is all over the floor as a result.

gotta give him a point for effort. dive, come back to back hand, clear, and then SS cross drop out.

He is mentally tough, he chases the shuttle all over the court against Sony on Friday. But simple smash smash game should work to defeat him, but need to be sharp.

    and then another

    17-20.

i am impressed by the fighting spirit. but also amused at the same time on the futility of it.

but then, now he gets another point.

    18-20

Yeh, I was suprised there was no walkover, in hindsight attempting to win the title honestly was a mistake, should have kept to the tried and tested method.:p

so he found out the way to play it is never to lift to Simon. one lift, and he is dead.

    21-18.

pretty impressive fighting spirit from this man. and credit to Simon for keeping up the pressure and not get stunned by the resistance.

i think DPY will get more respect despite the really hopeless defensive coverage.

oh, and neutralized by a simple drop.

    1-1.
