String no1 at least 2-3lbs higher to cover that initial drop
Yes that's what I have done but fresh 26lbs vs a drop 26lbs from say 29lbs is different . Fresh 26lbs wins hands down.

That's kind of debatable. If you're strictly talking about yonex strings then yeah I would agree, but I think no.1 is an exception. It's the only string that seems to play better after the initial drop.Yes that's what I have done but fresh 26lbs vs a drop 26lbs from say 29lbs is different . Fresh 26lbs wins hands down.
Have you tried Yonex BG 9 Strings they are cheap & Will be fun to play with. Those are at least better than BG 65.Horrible, just horrible lol. But I need to save money, been breaking way too many strings. I'll use anything as long as the string doesn't break![]()

I don't think I've ever seen BG 9 to be honest.Single-digit Yonex strings are the antichrist. Period.
Same here. I still stand by my statement regardless.I don't think I've ever seen BG 9 to be honest.

I've just checked - you can't even buy it around here (Europe), so I'm afraid that is not going to happen. They are pretty decent string for the price category. Almost like bg66 on a budget. They are made in china, and probably targeting lower end of the market.
