I just read that article . He did not say at any point that Lindan and Lee Chong wei are over. These stupid writers who want to attract people read their article that they can write anything to boast it.

When reporter asked whether Sri thinks that LCW and lindan's careers are over. He said that he don't think so. They can come back at any time and win titles.

It's a complete opposite what he said. Misleading titles.

These writers come up with these kind of eye-candy titles to catch the attention?

I heard Gopichand in a recent interview that srikanth is currently the best player in the fast track. But this will change when tournament conditions changes.

But the writer , simply written in this way .
I already pointed out some article of misleading titles. We have to read the contents to know it better.

How can you be the world's best when you have folded in the past two major Individual tournaments?

    Rio 2016 to Lin Dan
Glasgow 2017 to Son Wan Ho(In two straight games)

Srikanth is a Top 3 and Heavy Favourite in every tournament he enters based on his current form. But its still 'Form'. To be the world's Best, you need some distance b/w you and Number 2.

Hoping him to sweep China Open PSS and Hong Kong SS. Then I will myself give him that title.

That's why Even Gopichand said in an interview that he is the best in fast courts.

China open usually come up with slow shuttles. This will be difficult for him. Let's see. He even won china pss once. So, he should focus more.

There should be one current best. Everybody in the top 10 lost this year to somebody. Based on other categories ( that includes consistency, titles, no of wins to loss ratio etc also taken into account. In that case, I think he comes first) .

I don't know who is the current best then if he is not. In what category they will come up. How do you categorise?

    According to me,
    1) consistency
    2) No. Of titles
    3) Win loss ratio
    Etc.
What is your take on it? Who is the current best according to you based on which category?

Getting the YouTube fever to generate clicks. No doubt they will soon be writing even more outlandish headlines.....I shudder to think how far they will go.

Not necessary bad to drum up the interest.
Hope Viktor will get worked up and provide the necessary resistance to SK.
Then there is SWH and our Taiwanese warriors.

Even I found in one article where the headline was totally different to the content, and a side note. The note said that author has changed the headline after few hours after it is published.

This is nothing new when I remember an incident recently with my bro who is a cardiologist. He was interviewed by one of the top newspapers in india. He was asked some questions and answers were given by him and all the contents together went not more than 20 sentences. But when the article was published , it was 2 pages. We were stunned . The reporter had includes some of the contents of that topic taken from Google search in order to attract the viewers. Though the content did not deviate from the meaning, truly speaking it did not match the true quoting from the concerned person.

    Very unfortunate.

There are few issues with Srikanth that needs to be clarified before we all can unequivocally call him 'The World's Best'.

How will he he conclude his mini war with Axelsen (I hate him) which is 1-1 after the World War that happened in Glasgow. Will he stop him in China and Hong Kong? If Yes, then he is the World's Best for me.

How will he deal with Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan? Yep, these two are like a myth and as a Top Dog, Srikanth needs to show that these two are not a 'Wedding Spoiler' to him if he ever gets the chance to play them. If he can, he would be close to the undisputed World's best.

Be World Number 1. Yep that mini stat needs to be on your side for once atleast.

So, all above shows that Viktor has an clear edge to Srikanth at the moment. But Positive thing for Srikanth is that he is in Viktor's head and firmly established there. Even in Japan where Viktor beat him he said, ''He plays crazy-like''.

I am not surprised though. Somehow, it has been a contagious disease in country based on democracy. I really hope some rational badminton fans can help in 'containing' their fellow fans to not become over the top and such pain in the ass fans, disturbing our concentration from enjoying the actual badminton on the court

"There is a balance of physical and technical training as far as Srikanth is concerned. Srikanth is an example of how to think like professional and also keep oneself fit," India's singles coach, Mulyo Handoyo, told Firstpost.

He is in the fourth in the list of number of superseries winners .

    1) LCW - 45
    2) Lindan - 21
    3) Chen Long - 17
    4) Srikanth - 6

Courtesy : some newspaper. I wanna check though. I wonder about Sonwonho, Jan O Jorgensen , Taufik Hidayat , Peter gade etc.

"Say two to three years ago, there were Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan and Chen Long, who regularly featured in the semis and finals and probably winning titles. It was pretty difficult for other shuttlers to challenge for the crown but I would say things are more open now. There are a few players who stand a chance of winning major titles," Prannoy said in an interview
