Yeah, you'd think that training would actually improve his performances, but boy - oh - boy. The only good thing is that LZJ currently has to run a lot more than Momota, but KM is looking super slow again, so it probably won't matter.
I think he is, quite a lot actually. But you're right as well that Momota doesn't look one bit like he'll be able to profit from that. He looks worse than at the SC, frankly.
Totally wrong tactic, imo. Instead of going all out and trying to play quick winners himself he should have stuck with long, controlled rallies to exhaust LZJ further. Way too much gung-ho atm.
He cannot do that as LZJ can easily break his defence with a simple injection of pace. This may be due to poor clears from Momota as well.
Nonsense. He just had a 45 shot rally that ended with LZJ on the floor grimmacing and time wasting galore after that. What does Momota next? Two quick rallies with zero patience and got LZJ two quick points and the interval break. Completely daft, sorry.
The thing is that Momota used to have that other gear when the opponents were tired. I'm not sure he has that now. He is playing on same gear that the opponents which makes it difficult.
He doesn't need another gear. He needs patient, precise distribution, make LZJ lunge (which he is barely able to do anymore). Instead he's trying to inject pace, doesn't score and get's countered.
Jesus, that was stressful. I really need to ask my doctor if there is some sort of temporary heart medication I can use before games like these.
Awesome, great character shown, he took initiative under pressure. When in pressure become a LinDan not LCW. Happy to see KM win this one, will impart confidence needed.
