Seems like it's quite an easy game for Zhu Lin, I thought MC can do better than that

But it's okay, there's much more time for her to improve before the World Championship, Mew Choo has been real good in Korea Open

There is also Jiang Yanjiao. And not to forget, Xie Xingfang is still young.

tony/chandra is still #1, they can play for 2 or 3 years more

maybe USA badminton association will give chandra a proposal for playing as USA player :)

Talking about men's singles... I dunno Roslin would want either Lee Hyun Il or Bao Chun Lai to progress, I think both of them are quite a threat... Lee Hyun Il has got the major home support while Malaysians usually have a bad record against CHN players...

wooohooo, 2 outta 2 so far.
now, if only LHI and Lee/Hwang can win their matches as well, that'll be great.
i have to go to the bookies for the HK open.

on a side note, has anyone beaten TG/CW since they started playing together again recently?

    Greetings fron Zurich

Finally managed to get into the net after 4 days....and what a surprise tournament it has been. Team Indonesia manages to place at least 2 finalists with a potential title in Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir. They have been unstoppable so far and only an in-form Nathan Roberson/Gail Emms, Xie Zhongbo/Zhang Yawen or Zhang Jun/Gao Ling stand between them and another WC title in Madrid. Next week will be interesting...

Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan have exceeded my expectation in progressing beyond the quarter-final with yet another defeat at the hands of the senior pair Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya. I think Tony/Candra are going to win the title now.
Enough said about Luluk/Alvent...what a shocking defeat at the hands of an unknown England pair.

The WD pairs have been the suprise of the tournament so far. Jo Novita/Gresya Polii have confirmed their rise as one of the possible top 5 pairs by beating arch-rival Chien/Cheng. Lita Nurlita/Nathalia Poluakan also have their best tournament so far with a semi-final spot. It will be a miracle if either of these 2 pairs can beat reigning WC Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen..but..hey..we have seen these surprises happening this week.

Thats all from me for now...I will be flying back to SG tomorrow morning Zurich time.
