seo seung-jae is one of the best to ever pick up a racket: racket skills, foot work, court intelligence, shot making, counter attack control, defense under pressure, consistency, temperament.

Why they don't pair Kim Won Ho with Seo Seung Jae...? Min Hyuk easily rattled

They have paired up before, albeit in their earlier days. I don't think their results were anywhere as decent as this Seo/Kang pair.

kim won-ho did partner w/ kang in 2017 & ssj in 2018 when the current group of korean players were all starting their sr. tournament careers. sometime after november 2019 he got injured and was out for all of 2020 and returned in november 2021 (2 years). he may have put in his 2 years of military service during that time period also. during that time bka tried various combinations of partnerships in md & xd.

in 2017 i thought kim won-ho was the best all-around player out of the 4. i had them ranked as 1) kwh, 2) ssj, 3) choi sol-gyu, 4) kang. but, losing 2 years is a lot of time and training to catch up on. the sport of badminton will pass you by...

Seo is no doubt their best player but it feels like no one is good enough to pair up with him, and since he and kang produces results, they will probably keep them. I still think choi sol gyu is the best partner for kim won ho or even with seo but they kicked him out of the national team
