I will take some pictures next time I use my grommet-replacement-kit. I ordered a couple of them along with the T-shaped ones - but not a big number. So if you find then interesting based on the pics, we can negotiate terms and conditions.

Besides my bed there is currently... well... a cradle.

Club league season is over so my backlog is down to zero at the moment. But because it's you, I compared the MBS grommets with the standard ones from Dennis. And I'm afraid that they are equal in regard if the head sizes. So it seems like my eyes were fooling me. Yet I'm pretty sure you will be happy with those T-shaped ones.

And speaking of emojis... has anyone seen this one?

Is that an upsidedown Victor-logo on the racket or what?!

Sounds logic. Imagine: You can't sleep...You're in the mood to...A stringing machine won't have a lame excuse like "headache". ;) Just kidding.

Hey, I'm open minded - you can do whatever you want with your stringing machine. But don't be surprised if people are staring at the two of you when going out on a date together.

Sorry for the delay. I was busy with stringing rackets over the WE.

I received a grommet pack from Dennis. He send me his full selection. Many thanks for your service. My first impressions were great.Following grommets were in the package:

    • 2.1 x 7.0 standard
    • 2.1 x 8.0 small T head
    [IMG]
    • 2.1 x 8.5 standard
    • 2.5 x 8.0 square head
    [IMG]

    • 2.5 x 11.0 red T head
    [IMG]
    • 2.6 x 8.6 standard
    • 2.6 x 10.7 standard
    • 2.7 X 13.8 L head

    The Standard Grommets
    **************************

First of all I can say that the standard grommets are better than the MBS grommets. They seem to be made of a harder plastic and my 31lbs proofed me right. They are IMO much better than the MBS one. The heads are slightly thicker and have a bit more material at the head. While the MBS one have a real deep "counter sunk" head, these don't have it such extreme. Means: More material -> more area where the string contacts -> less pressure and mare safety. I'm happy. :)

    The standard head:

The L-Head, T-Heads and Square Grommets

Now I review the "specials". I love these L and red T heads. They fit at the top and at the bottom and are a real life-saver for any racket which must survice douzens of high tension jobs. I must never be afraid that my grommets get cut and notch the frame. Really stunning and not worries anymore.

The square ones don't fit at the bottom area. They were a bit to short and don't sit firm in the holes. I discovered that they are perfect for the last 2 mains at the top. They fit much better and are long enough.

The small T is perfect for the the crosses of the middle or the middle of the mains. The groove protect the string and they are also made of good material.

IMO all of these grommets are not such soft as other grommets. I compared them with the ZFII sets and the MBS ones and my vote goes for Dennis' grommets. All in all these grommets are special and are not the standard allrounder. IMO each type is more suitable for an area than the other one, but I wouldn't live without them. ;)

Here some impressions how I assembled them on my JS10:

Nice! Mine just arrived today so I'll be busy this weekend stringing except, but I just realized I made a huge mistake on my grommet order. *facepalm 我真的很蠢* I ordered square grommets thinking they were single-string grommets.... And I didn't order the small T-grommets. Oh well, I'll just make another order.

Hey guys, the red 2.5 x 11mm T head, do they fit snug in the shared holes, or do they move around a little bit? I don't string my own rackets and it would seem like a hassle if I brought it to my stringer and made them put the grommets in every single time I go for a restring.

Is there a way to use these grommets to replace an U grommet?
