Hi all, I'm just wondering is it that small grip rackets has lesser demand compare to those larger grips e.g. G5 onwards? It does seems to be the case here in Malaysia, most shops rarely restock G6 grip rackets once they're finish. All new stocks comes in G5 grips only.
I myself prefer G6 grips as it gives me a sense of better control of my racket compare to G5 grips. My rackets are all in G5 & I've remove all the original grip and wrap an overgrip over the naked racket handle.

Grips used to be thicker than G5, slowly the manufacturers have mostly moved to G5 which seems to suit most people.

G6 are more rare and I expect will stay that way.

Its all about preference, I like G5/G6 but have friends who add thicker grips on top of G4/G5 because they prefer a very thick grip.

I am using G6 with original grip and AC102Ex-30.

I adjust the thickness by the amount of overlap. I used to use G4 without the original grip and have two layers of grips. Preferences have changed over time.

g4 and g5 were the norm back then from carbonex, muscle power, armortec era. slowly changing to g5 and g6 nowadays. although i must say g6 is rarer than g5 back then

personally g5 with og grip removed + ac102ex straight on the wood is my preference. cant beat that extra rough feel around the bevel
