To have LCW-vs-LD and/or LCW-vs-PG at this 2009 Sudirman Cup

    .
It would be great if we can have LCW-vs-LD and/or LCW-vs-PG at this 2009 Sudirman Cup.

LCW was pleasantly surprised at the reception given to him in Guangzhou for the 2009 Sudirman Cup Draw.
Here is what was reported in the Malaysian Star of 30 April 2009:

    "Thursday April 30, 2009

Trip to Guangzhou an eye-opener for Chong Wei

KUALA LUMPUR: A three-day trip to Guangzhou, China, proved to be a real eye-opener for world number one shuttler Lee Chong Wei.
The Malaysian, who was invited by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) as a guest for the Sudirman Cup draw on April 25, was amazed with the reception he received from badminton fans there.
Chong Wei said he was greeted by hordes of fans at the airport upon his arrival.
And many more turned up to watch him conduct coaching clinics for juniors in Guangzhou. Even Chong Wei was surprised with the warm welcome he received from the Chinese fans, who were probably acknowledging him as a worthy opponent to their own superstar Lin Dan.
“I did not know I had so many fans over there.
“It felt good and, honestly, I felt quite at home in Guangzhou,” said Chong Wei."

I hope the World will manage to do something about the virus.
    Go Go Sudirman Cup!

As for Chong Wei, neither BAM or NSC had voiced out the possibility for Malaysia to withdraw, up to this moment. So, he'll stay as our captain to Guangzhao. damn, Mew Choo must be proud. ^_~

well, i'm not. MAS has 1 sure point against KOR, that's all. with all among equals, KOR is known for their team and fighting spirit and MAS is known to be lack of it. with TR's withdrawn MAS has a chance to pass the first round for the first time, but dont count your chicken just yet.

Why dont you put it this way:

' I have confidence in LCW leading Malaysia into the final and win the Sudirman Cup.' ? This is much more 'shiok'....
