haha....easy for us armchair players to criticise.....fyi....cheekygen would knw how they feel.....

lcw is a humble person....if he has it his way, he would shy away fr the limelight.....but like u say, bcoz he has reponsibilities, he comes out sometimes to voice his opinion.....winning isnt everythin.....and its not the players fault tht the govt shower them with gifts and rewards.....i mean somtimes it is our own fault.....did u see how the crowd treated wmc when she beat XXF?.....and she had to go up to meet the VIPs......i mean cmon....she should be given her chance to rest and focus on the next match...and u think the crowd and fans are goin to remember her victory.....once she starts losin, the fans are goin to crucify her.....msian fans are just too demanding.....n bcoz of tht, the coaches promise heaven and earth....

and its not a sob story....WC is over and now its time to move on to the next tournament.....

Not me, thanks. With cynical fans out there, I keep my daytime job, thank you very much. One thing, if LCW exit now, MAS is in the baddy world of MS wilderness for a long time...and you guys then have Hhhhhafix and Mr Kuan to deal with, hahaha!!! LOL!!:p;)

The Danish coach dont need to resort to tough measures like LYB as the Danish players are professionals. Look at Peter Gade, at his age he is still a decent player. Look at their doubles players ML/JE, despite their age they are still going. As for Msia, win one All England, the players become prima donnas. Thats the difference.

And yes, LYB's style will suit Msia. It wont be popular at first as our players are used to the milk bottles but in the long run it will work, if we presevere and not interfere with LYB.

Time to throw out the prima donnas and whingers if we want to seriously challenge China.

This is the kind of attitude that shames a country, when a player is bashed for an off-day and only praised when he wins with no mistakes.

hey, for wat he should quit the team?? if he quit, no other player can take his place as national number1...junior?? they cant even take the big guns..still 3 or 4 years more... so we canot blame LCW for his failure at WC...:)

Err, is this thread about LCW needing to apologize or to criticize his performance? No doubt he played poorly (and us paying customers are much poorer for it). But winning and losing is part of the game, let's hope that he becomes wiser to whatever pressure cooker situation in the future. Certain things players just have to learn by themselves or get help from sports psychologists, coaches can't really impart the knowledge of how to handle pressure.

As far as I am concerned, LCW has apologized for his outburst, I hope the BAM Mgmt and coaches can deal with it properly and improve the groundwork to achieve the next targets for the MAS squad. Granted, it has been a poor tournament for Malaysia, but is it the end of the world? Last year Indonesia had a poor WC but they bounced back strongly this year ......

Nope, you said if LCW quit who is going to carry MAS's flag in MS. Well, my answer to you is LCW bigger than the game? Which means without LCW (say if he quit), do you think MAS will suffer? MAS cant do without LCW?

    Pretty straight forward , actually

If LCW quit BAM...and join KLRC or even Nusa Mahsuri...he still able to represent MAS just like LTS and HH...then less conflicts with YKH...and maybe next time when he lost again...he can blame somebody else....

Its a truth for the time being.. No 1 in MAS MS department can dethorned LCW position easily ! If he quit now.. MAS needs more time to produce another players similar to his capability..
