LZJ fanbase now attacking LCW for praising Kunlavut's attitude and victory.
Ugly to see Malaysia badminton fans becomes player worshiper that cannot hear any criticism.

I read LCW praised KV for his win and his humble attitude. Where do you see fans attacking LCW?

He beats himself again by hitting too many outs. I cringed Everytime he hit to the lines.

The same 3rd game since 2022.
    Start > 0-5 behind
    Middle > Try to comeback
End > Lose tamely (12 points etc) or comeback-king (19 points)

How can anyone see this an improvement? Have to face reality.

If he cuts down his mistakes of hitting out by half, he would have won the first game easily.

No need for him to go for the baselines.
Kodai's smashes are not that lethal compared with other MS players. he still could defend.

The below is from the first post in this thread and still holds true.

From what I see, he has really good netplay and retrieving ability but he tends to be very error-prone, especially smashing wide/lifting long. His consistency in the future will probably depend on how much he can further on his strengths and continue to minimize his errors.

He is a bit stubborn on lifting. I wanted him to lift high up at least there's a chance of recovery and also making opponent tired when they have to do the smashes. lzj got good arm length. even 50% chances of return is good enough to get points or making the opponents tired.

Vs naraoka, he also rushed himself and push low shots. It was intercepted a few points. Imagine if he push it up high, he could have won g1 and the match. Don't have to go for g3 to waste energy. ;)

Well, he still is the best bet for Malaysia in OG. NTY is worse, his fitness is horrible. He can only win 1st and 2nd round in big events and thats it. He can't last. No doubt his style of playing looks elegant, but in the end, result and performance counts. ;)

TBH is also a big mouth saying lzj need to go army camp to beef up his fitness. In fact, NTY needs more. Wonder why TBH is so kind to BAM and not dare to ruffle their feathers? hmmm....

By right, everyone shd respect professionals who are not with the Associations. Whether they win or lose, it's their life. (Viktor, Antonsen and some INA players just to name a few) No tax payers involved. Its take a lot of resources to manage so many things without the Association. We need to learn to respect that. Just like tennis.

Where else, those in BAM are spoon-fed. They public's tax money is involved, they shd scrutinise BAM players more. Many Malaysians are still not familiar with respect for professional players. Misbun also went professionals in his days. He was the 1st. ;) Isn't it a joke that if you are a WC and they have never won even a s750? (eg. Aaron and Soh and also Loh KY. This is a big joke till now.) The credibility of WC is at stake.

Too many keyboard warriors. ;) LCW just mumble too much nonsense with the Yonex sponsor thingy. During his days when Victor was the sponsor, did he removed Yonex tshirts while he trains? He is getting less respect as he babbles more. Stupidity. ;) I think Taufik is right about revoking LCW from Hall of Fame. He shd be put in Hall of Shame. ;) He shd stfu from now. ;)

Yeah, everything is because of LCW, because of BAM, because of TBH

See that ? No need to go anywhere to see.

Maybe someone else needs to be in Hall of Shame instead of LCW...

The top 10 in bwf mens singles today are different breed from before whereby anyone of them can make comeback to take the top podium. Perhaps due to the advancement of sports science today like swimming. Ljz plays better when he maintains his temperament and manage his big picture game... be incontrol of the rallies. Unfortunately when he makes a brilliant point equally he gave away one with wild error. He struggles to keep that advantage. Another thing i noticed the press keeps over hype about his wins in early rounds. My appeal is to let him stay out of the limelight. Its always repeating again and again in every tournament he is in.

the press and fan chatter has nothing to do with the success or failure of an athlete. it's on the athlete to read the news or ignore it, to believe what they read or ignore it. it's called maturity. it's part of the process towards success.

if you want to blame the chatter for an athletes failure do you give credit to it for an athletes success? am i supposed to believe lin dan is the goat partly because of what the press and fans said about him during his playing days?

the only reason 'the press' exists is to hype things, good or bad. if they didn't nobody would read them. they would cease to exist.
