    With due respect to these two injury prone players,

    I think it is rather hard for them to topple lcw until at least London 2012 :D

    They don't have the last minute 'noz' installed unlike ld :D

    Listing LCW's matches and scores since the start of this year (2011)

    .
    Although LCW lost, he ought to be congratulated. LCW is still the most consistent Mens Singles winner since the start of this year.

    Now listing LCW's matches and scores for this year (2011);

    * 05-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Nguyen Tien Minh...........21-12, 21-17 (34 mins)
    * 06-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Jan O Jorgensen.............21-13, 21-13 (35 mins)
    * 07-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Peter Hoeg Gade [3/4]....21-14, 21-12 (28 mins)
    * 08-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Boonsak Ponsana [3/4]...21-17, 21-18 (43 mins)
    * 09-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Peter Hoeg Gade [3/4]....21-09, 21-14 (43 mins)

    Malaysia Open Super Series
    * 19-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Tommy Sugiarto............21-17, 21-18 (43 mins)
    * 20-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Hu Yun........................21-06, 21-09 (23 mins)
    * 21-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Nguyen Tien Minh [8].....21-15, 21-16 (40 mins)
    * 22-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Chen Long [3]...............21-09, 21-09 (39 mins)
    * 23-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Taufik Hidayat [2]..........21-08, 21-17 (37 mins)

    Korea Open Premier Super Series
    * 26-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Jan O Jorgensen......21-9, 18-21, 21-16 (54 mins)
    * 27-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Park Sung Hwan..............21-14, 21-09 (36 mins)
    * 28-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Wang Zhengming (Q).......21-14, 21-19 (37 mins)
    * 29-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Du Pengyu......................21-10, 21-10 (34 mins)
    * 30-Jan-2011 Lee Chong Wei [1]-Lin Dan [6]...........19-21, 21-14, 16-21 (74 mins)

    Someone suggested to me that Lin Dan should be considered "most consistent". I would not agree. Why? Because LCW has easily defeated other CHN top players, namely; Chen Long, Wang Zhengming and Du Pengyu, but LD has not.

    Lin Dan's results: Played since the start of this year (2011)

    .
    "Just kidding" - That's what we sometimes say. :):):)

    Seriously speaking, Lin Dan has not been consistent lately. Only wish some BCers have time to post LD's results played since the start of this year (2011).

    LD should be ranked as our BWF No.1 Mens Singles if LYB has not been interfering

    .
    If you have been following our many BCers' comments; LD should be ranked as our BWF No.1 Mens Singles if LYB has not been interfering with his CHN players' results/records.

    So many believed that LD faked his injuries for other CHN players to move on.

    hmmm i wonder why there is so much debate whether lcw is the real no1 or not.For me, he works really hard and he deserves it.If Lin dan wants the rank, ask him to play more tournament and win it. As for lcw, he is only unable to beat lin dan regularly but i'm sure he will able to do it soon. From their previous matches u can see that the match has become much more closer than before where lcw lost to lin dan in straight set. I think lcw will able to beat lin dan soon. I also remember in previous years lcw always lost to taufik but now he is able to overcome it. So, i'm sure he will able to do the same to lin dan. It is just a matter of time. This is just MHO. LCW gambate!:)

    Where have you been. It is common knowledge that LD has publicly admitted that he is not interested in being no.1.,

    he has been there before, his future goals are to win major tournaments and play when his country needs him the most.

    Future meetings between LD and LCW will be nothing to shout about, it will be exciting only when they meet in major tournaments.

    The ones arguing about being no.1 are the BC fans here.

    LCW appears to have reached his peak and possibly can't improve much anymore. LD on the other hand still has potential to improve to another level IMHO.

    You could be right. :):):)

    Just minutes ago, I posted this (in another thread);

    It is quite an achievement for all these 4 players, namely; LCW, TH, LD and PG, to be still holding on to the Top 4 positions after so many years.
