Interesting, the current head is a former volleyball player and now a former badminton player. where are all the former tennis player!? Chinese women tennis has become a power house in the past 10 year. Li has a big shoe to fill.

in the 1990s, Li Mao and LLW once petitioned to the boss at the Sports Ministry to have LYB removed. They failed and Li Mao went into exile!!!

That doesn't explain why she would resign.

    Just my mere opinion, but..

since LLW would be responsible for and represent the interest of a different sport, shouldn't she resign as a BWF Council member?

I think tennis will grow big in the next years in China. Now it is still very confidential.

Is there a conflict of interest ? Would her serving badminton affect tennis or vice versa?
