Li Ning China Open Super Series 2008: Day 6 (Finals)

I think she can hold her own. Look at her in WD. She's got a formidable partnership with LKW. You can't say LKW's covering her all the time
;)...i know, i'm not saying she can't hold her own...but playing with LYD as your partner is different..

The norm is XD first and MD last if a player is in both matches. You've been around longer to know this. But this is CHN, you know?
i dont disagree, that is how it's 'normally done' but my guess is it isn't a bwf law or rule of how the host arrange the event sequence. That is what home game advantage is all about. Personally, in this case, i don't see it makes any difference.

Yeah...

Chris, you must have hit the magical 10,000th post sometime tonight :)
..(yeah, another BCer reminded me earlier in the day) is that good or bad??..all those useless posts...:o
unfortunately it was missing 2 extra zeroes, when Heong hit the jackpot a couple or so weeks back...:p :(...now i've got to chase our cooler...;)
Well, I could make LYD look bad if he was partnering me... :D:D
..or he could make you look absolutely brilliant...;)

BTW, as LYD, MD should be much easier as JJS can cover his back. Generally MX gets a male player more tired than playing in MD. :)

Many desperate PAWers trying to catch the last big wave. But eaten up by the tsunami instead, haha :D

Yup, the 31 pointer. ;):D

don't pretend you know CHN better than anyone else!!! guess you've been around longer here in BC than really in CHN... ;)

Errr, it is the norm in finals especially, for XD to be played 1st & doubles last(5th), is the same player is involved in both dept. Or stimes, doubles 1st match, XD last match.
If few players involved in 2 dept i.e. one player in XD and WD, another in XD and MD, then it'll be 1st and 4th, 1st and 5th (last). But seldom 2nd & last when only 1 player is playing both dept.

ting ting ting ting ting!!

on whole, both WD team are pretty close.
ting ting had improved since the last time i watch her -stroke and consistency.
fay paw chin is quite good:D
close match.

indeed ceh is a talented lefty.i like her empty-space and cross court return of smashes. she has powerful smashes n deceptive drops.meanwhile wpt has nice crosscourt net:cool: interesting wd 2day

Great day for Lee Young Dae as he grabbed two titles here! Next stop more exciting competition at Hongkong Open, last opportunity to collect SS ranking points...
