I see Sayaka Takahashi lost to Gu Juan :(

I can't even follow the matches on livescore because of the time difference.

Tommy Sugiarto is doing good against Yuhan Tan, 21-11, 11-9 at the interval of the second game.

if anything less than a final will be a failure for him....
from now onwards I dont see any real threat to him,
of coz no disrespect to Mr. Sakai and Mr. Takeshita from Japan
but Hafiz as current status...should be able to beat the rest and enter final
    but Hafiz Hashim...anything can happen....

Riichi Takeshita is dangerous, but I hope the Yoyo will be going in the right direction.

On second thought, Hsu Jen Hao could be even more dangerous and beat Takeshita and then face MHH.

Is there something wrong with my livescore? It only updates every 5 or so minutes...? First I see Chooi/Ow leading 3-0, then suddenly 20-13 in about 10 minutes.

I have my doubts about Hafiz beating Hsu Jen Hao, who is a very good player.

The TS livescore is indeed acting up and lagging like crazy.

A breakdown of the Quarterfinals by countries:

    MS: HKG 2, JPN 2, INA 1, IND 1, MAS 1, TPE 1
    WS: HKG 2, TPE 2, CHN 1, JPN 1, PHI 1, SIN 1
    MD: MAS 2, SIN 2, TPE 2, AUS 1, JPN 1
    WD: JPN 2, SIN 2, AUS 1, HKG 1, KOR 1, PER 1
    XD: JPN 2, AUS 1, NZL 1, PER 1, SIN 1, SUI 1, TPE 1

    Total: JPN 8, SIN 6, TPE 6, HKG 5, AUS 3, MAS 3, PER 2, CHN 1, INA 1, IND 1, KOR 1, NZL 1, PHI 1, SUI 1

By continent: Asia 33, Oceania 4, Americas 2, Europe 1

Nice to see 4/5 continents represented. Asia is dominating and that is good.

As expected, Tommy Sugiarto will possibly face 2 Hong Kong players tommorow: Chan Yan Kit and maybe Wong Wing Ki.

With Hu Yun already out, it is likely that Tommy will face Mohd Hafiz Hashim in the Final, that is assuming if both players win their matches tomorrow.
