 He is not sporting AT ALL. He take off the silver MEDAL imediately and leave the cheque a side and refuse to wear the soviner cup. U ARE making a lot of Malaysia fans angry. What does this mean?? From what he does bring out the message such as " i am not lose yet, how can i lost to LCW" ...

    Forumers, do u angry??

the lack of respect shown by LD is a cause for concern in terms of setting an example to younger players, disrespect to different cultures, and not a sign of a 'champion' he is. i do hope that some sort of disciplinary action will be taken.

LD lost it's that simple. he needed only one point to win... it's really sad to see something like this happen :(

I totally agree, my respect for LD has gone down a few notches now. He has acted like a spoilt kid. Peter Gade, Lee HI, KJ, Taufik... would not have acted like that if they lost fair and square...

    LD, grow up!!!!

Somemore, he threw away his racket and received a red card waring from the empire. During the prize ceremony, can u see how LCW feel like don't know what to do.. From LCW face, he seem like want to invite LD to stand together with him.. But, affraid a bit... Do u all observe this??

Hmm..I do notice the red card on the umpire's hands when LCW went to shake his hands at the end of the match. But, I didn't know it was for Lin Dan. I really hope IBF will take note of this. With Punch Gunalan watching the match live...and the fact that IBF's headquarter is now in Malaysia, showing such disrespect in Malaysian soil is certainly a serious matter! I hope Lin Dan gets fined!

I think there were a couple of very close calls...but one was to his advantage and he got another match point at 21-20. LCW eventually won the match with a close call on a long return to the back of the court. Nevertheless, LCW totally deserves his amazing comeback victory!

Ya.... he is not respecting our malaysia culture also... a great sportman can take win and lose game greatly as there is always someone lose and someone win in a game. No sportmanship shown in him at all. thank for LCW for letting him know that there is always someone can challeng him and china... I m proud of Malaysia performance this round by securing the men single and double title... finally MALAYSIA BOLEHHHHHHHHHHHH..........:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I watched the mtch on RTM1 in S'pore.
I have to agree with most here that LD is not a good eg or ambassadror for badmitnon. He is also extremely disrespectful of the host today. Of course he is upset- he is actually very upset. One can see that he constantly tried to wipe off the tears from his face while standing on the podium (after receiving or rather refusing the cap).
I do hope that the China Badminton Association will eprimand him for this incident or at least come out with some sort of apologies for such unbecoming behaviour.
