Probably better if you read each shot and watch it on YouTube for a better idea.

    - Shuttle should go over the net and land between net and the front of the court
    - Net shot is used to move opponent from mid court to the front court

    Net Kill (Basic)
    - Light/Fast Hit
    - Quick shot
    - Shot is performed near the net
    - Shuttle is hit downward from above the net
    - The net kill is used on finish off poor shots that are too high over the net

    Lift (Basic)
    - Firm Hit
    - Powerful shot
    - Shot is performed at the front of the court
    - Shuttle is hit upward from the front of the net to the back of the court
    - The Lift is a used to give yourself time to reposition from the front of the court to mid court

    Drive (Basic)
    - Fast/Hard Hit
    - Quick shot/Powerful shot
    - Shot is performed at front, mid, or even back of the court
    - The Shot is hit quickly with a flat angled trajectory
    - Shuttle is hit and travels quickly to the other side of the court, lands near the middle of court or back of court
    - Drive is a quick shot to pressure your opponent to react

    Drop Shot (Basic)
    - Light Forward Hit
    - Light shot/ Fast shot
    - Shot is performed at the back of the court
    - Shuttle is hit parallel/down from the back of the court and dropping over the net at the front of the court
    - Drop Shot is a shot used to move opponents from the mid court area to the front of the court

    Clear (Basic)
    - Firm/Fast/Powerful hit
    - Quick/Powerful shot
    - Shot is performed at the back of the court
    - Shuttle is hit upwards from back of the court to the opponents back court
    - Shuttle is hit high up and deep into opponent court
    - Clear is used for giving yourself time to reposition yourself

    Smash (Basic)
    - Fast/Powerful hit
    - Quick/Powerful shot
    - Shot is performed at the mid court or back court
    - Shuttle is hit steeply downwards from the back of the court to the opponents mid court or back court
    - The Smash is the main aggressive shot used to win rallies or to add pressure

    Blocking (Basic)
    - Light hit/ Fast hit
    - Light/Powerful shot
    - Shot is performed at the mid court to defend against smashes, steep drives, or net kills
    - Lift Block – lift the shuttle high upwards to the back when defending
    - Flat Block – quickly hit the shuttle to perform a flat trajectory from bottom to up (similar to a drive trajectory except it is upward angle)
    - Light Block – lightly or just place your racket to where a powerful shot is coming and the shuttle will rebound and land in the front of their court
    - Blocking is used when defending against powerful offensive shots like the smash

Some advanced shots require the knowledge of wrist shots, deception, slicing, pronation, and supination.
Wrist Shot – a hit made by using only the wrist to perform quick shots without much winding up
Deception – the act of making a shot look the same as another shot but performing another shot
Slicing – Hitting the shuttle at an angle on the string bed rather than hitting the shuttle squarely forward
    - This technique makes the shuttle travel slower and changes the angle
Pronation – Technique to maximize powerful forehand shots
Supination – Technique to maximize powerful backhand shots

Tumbling Net Shot (Hairpin net shot)
    - Light slice on the cork
    - Light Shot/ Shuttle Tumbles over the net
    - Shot is made at the front of the court, near the net
    - Slicing toward the net will hit the shuttle low over the net but hits further to opponent
    - Slicing away from net will hit the shuttle higher but close to the net
    - Tumbling Net Shot is used to make the shuttle tumble over the net, making the other opponent lift because the shuttle does not stabilize until near the mid or bottom of the net.

    Cross Court Net Shot
    - Light touch with a tilt of the racquet to guide the shuttle across the net
    - Light Shot
    - Shot is made at the front of the court, near the net
    - Shuttle is guided from one side of the front court to the other side front court
    - Cross Court Net Shot is used to make your opponent move to the other side of court

    Cross Court Slice Net Shot
    - Light slice on the cork
    - Light shot
    - Shot is made at the front of the court, near the net
    - Shuttle is guided from one side of the front court to the other side front court
    - The shot is difficult to perform properly as slicing is harder to control
    - Cross Court Slice Net Shot is the same as Cross Court Net Shot, but the slicing decelerates the shuttle slightly and can be played deceptively

    Slice Net Kill
    - Quick Slice
    - Light/Quick Shot
    - Shot is made at the front of the court, near the net
    - Racquet face brushes the cork making the shuttle drop down
    - Slice Net Kill is used when you don’t have enough room to hit a regular net kill (might hit the net), or change trajectory angles with slicing technique

    Push Shot (Lift)
    - Quick Wrist Flick
    - Quick/Powerful
    - Shot is made at the front of the court, near the net
    - Shuttle is hit from the front of the court to the back of the court
    - The trajectory is hit deep into the back of the court and flat trajectory (Higher than drive), unlike lift which is hit high and deep into the court

    Wrist Drive
    - Quick wrist flick
    - Quick/powerful
    - Shot is made at the mid court
    - Shuttle is hit from the mid court to the other mid court
    - Shot is made quickly with only the wrist no wind up
    - The Wrist Drive is used when you need to do a quick drive and you don’t have much time to react

    Slice Drive
    - Slice the shuttle to change the angle of the drive shot

    Pronated/Supinated Drive
    - Powerful shot
    - Shot is made at mid court
    - Shuttle is hit from the mid court to the other mid court or back court
    - Shot is made with a wind up to produce a much stronger drive
    - Pronated/Supinated Drive uses pronation/supination to hit faster and possibly make the other opponent react defensively or miss

Fast Drop Shot (Slice Drop Shot)
    - Quick shot
    - Shot is made at the back court
    - Shuttle is hit with a slice taking away all the speed while still pushing it forward
    - Can be really deceptive making it look like a smash or a clear
    - Shuttle is hit from the back court and lands at the front court, depending on how much pace you take off the shuttle, the shuttle will drop closer to the net
    - Fast Drop Shot drops the shuttle to the front of the opponent court

Cross Court Slice Drops (Reverse Slice/ Cut Slice)
    - Same as Slice Drop Shot
    - Except uses the different slice angles to hit cross court shots
    - Slice Drops look deceptive

    Attacking Clear
    - Powerful/Quick Shot
    - Shot is made at the back of the court
    - Shuttle travels high and flat, but not as high as Clear
    - Attacking Clear travels quicker to the back of the court to pressure opponent

    Half-Smash
    - Quick/Powerful Shot
    - Shot is made using the wrist with no or little wind up
    - Shot is quick due to less wind up
    - Half-Smash is a good aggressive shot when you can’t play a full smash and you don’t want to give up aggression

    Full Smash
    - Powerful Shot
    - Shot is performed with proper technique of pronation, shoulder rotation, and body rotation
    - Shot is normally performed at the back of the court with both legs on the ground
    - Full Smash is an aggressive shot to move opponent

    Jump Full Smash
    - Powerful Shot
    - Shot is performed with proper technique of full smash + leg power + more core energy + more body rotation
    - Powerful shot with steeper angle of smash than the full smash
    - Jump Full Smash is an aggressive shot to move opponent and has a much steeper angle and power

Slice Smash(Cut Smash or Reverse Smash)
    - Slice Shot/ Powerful Shot
    - Shot is performed with a slice to disguise shot and change angle of the shot
    - Shot is slightly slower but the disguise and angle change makes it harder to get
    - Slice Smash is an aggressive shot to move opponent and is deceptive
    - Adding a Jump Slice Smash makes it powerful, steep, and deceptive

    Back Hand
    - Weaker shot than forehand
    - Use supination rather than pronation
    - Back Hand shot can imitate all of the forehand shots except for it is weaker for power

    Flick Serve
    - Flick of wrist to serve from serving position to the back of the court
    - Flick Serve can delay opponents due to the fast wrist action
