    Wei Nam think after beaten mighty LCW twice he can beat the rest of lower ranked MAS players, but unfortunately Daren Liew is not like LCW, now as independent player, he can play any skills he want and that's how he beat Wei Nan today...

    Gloria looked stellar in the beginning of her career, wonder why she hasn't managed to register herself amongst the elites :(

    ROUND OF 16 (12.30pm) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...50AA6D-483B-4CB9-9B7A-AA841518953C&d=20161201

    Early exit for HKG MS veterans, Wei Nan and Hu Yun succumbed to the lower-ranked player, Malaysian independent Liew Daren and Indonesian rookie Firman Abdul Kholik respectively. But Hong Kong still has one more representative remains, 5th seed Wong Wing Ki who battled hard to down Iskandar Zulkarnain yesterday. Current Hong Kong Superseries beaten finalist, Sameer Verma was surprised by Indonesian young hopeful Muhammad Bayu Pangisthu. Meanwhile hot favourite Chou Tien Chen dropped first game 21-23 before bounced back in next two games to overcome the less-experienced Chinese shuttler Guo Kai, another Chinese second layer will be his next opponent Zhu Siyuan. On lower-half of draw, a prospected tight contest will pit Praneeth against Wong WK, the Indian player knocked out recent World Junior Champion Sun Feixiang in two straight-games.

    WS top contender Saina Nehwal was stretched into marathon match by unheralded Hanna Ramadhini, the Indian jewel will see Indonesian hurdle once again in her path to last eight Dinar Dyah Ayustine. Two seeded players have tumbled in first round, Yip Pui Yin and Hsu Ya Ching, the latter lost to Malaysian teen talent Goh Jin Wei. Newly-crowned World Junior Champion Chen Yufei will be tested by Indonesian promising star, Fitriani to book quarterfinal spot. In mixed doubles category, Indonesia camp scores unsuccessful campaign as their potential back-ups Faisal/Aulia, Widjaja/Widianto, Subaktiar/Dili couldn't pass opening round, all of them lost to HKG combinations.

    After seeing Saina playing, i first thought she is not at all saina i know. She is lucky enough to move ahead. She was not at all in her element/.

    They targeted Saina's right knee. So, the opponent played so many forehand crosscourt drop shots making saina to lunge forward more. She is struggling in that area. Pain to watch.

    Han Yue is not a tall big girl yet she has a good smash reminiscent of Intanon and she is a runner, not bad, bright future ahead.

    Han Yeu, born 11 Nov 1999, is still good for another shot at WJC next year.

    This Chen Xiaoxin is also impressive, we can't see her playing, but beating Tee Jing Yi in two straight sets is a great sign of huge talent she has. She was born in 1998.

    I should think so though we didn't get to see the match, still beating Tee Jing Yi in two straight sets is no mean feat. She's 18 years old already, will be ineligible for the junior circuit next year, hope to see more of her in the pro circuit.

    Darren doesn't seem to be able to reproduce his form of yesterday against Pangisthu, another bright INA hopeful.

    I noticed all the CHN WS come from the last WJC, only Gao Fangjie is missing.

    Based on the draw, I'd expect to see Liang Xiaoyu in the final, her main hurdle en route should be Cheung Ngan Yi tomorrow.

    What a net shot at 11-7 in this Pangisthu-Daren Liew match

    Sadly, it's only on one-angle-camera stream
