Most results so far are predictable. Results of the day so far are: Julia Wong bt Kaori Mori (Julia in hot contention for Malaysia #1 spot) Ronald Susilo bt Boonsak Ponsana
Unfortunately, Ronald meets Peter Gade in the next round. I like both players so it's hard to cheer against either. Can we expect to see Ronald pull another one out of his hat?
This is the best chance for Ronald to pull off an upset. I get the feeling that Peter has not fully recovered yet.
i didnt see it either... what an upset.. they even reached final last month in denmark... and i thought they have the best chance into semi afterall:crying:
Now this is an interesting one. While I predicted Robertson/Emms to prevail, I had this disturbing feeling that Shirley/Quay could spoil their plans. They have been playing well of late that's for sure. Let's see if they can keep up the pace.
This is a very tight one! With Ronald recovering almost 90% (?) from his Achilles tendon injury and Peter unfortunately just getting trapped in his migraine nightmare! About a year ago, at the Aviva Open Singapore, Peter completely mastered Ronald. Now it remains to be seen whether Ronald could turn the tables.
emms/robertson really not in good form lately.....WMC vs PHY.....close game for now....WMC leading 10-9
Results of the day (beginning from the most sensational) 1. Spitko/Fuchs bt Gunawan/Riyadi 2. Julia Wong bt Kaori Mori 3. Ronald Susilo bt Boonsak Ponsana
Can you believe Saina smoked Judith 21-10 in the first game. Looks like Judith has woken up though, up 7-3 in the 2nd
She's come out gunning in the 2nd game. Is there something wrong with Pi? Or is she being outhustled by WMC?
