there was once that the all 4 courts featuring mas players!:eek:

eaglehelang.. indeed blair/lindley are also a recently reformed pair.
achilles recovery is soooo slow.. scar is healing up nicely tho.. not a lot of scabbing left.. mostly dry skin - i see the doc again on friday - hopefully start some physio soon and perhaps then my recovery will accellerate a bit

chan/chew took the first 21-14 and leading comfortably in the second.. so much for a tight game.

Yes! CCM/CCE won straight sets, 21-14, 21-13.

Good to hear you're recovering Coops, you need take off work/college?

yeah been off work since it happened.. only really started driving short journeys this last fortnight, and not on my own just in case. i've been off work for 12 weeks tomorrow i think.. such a long time out of the office - been able to work fro home though so it's not too bad.
 
So, its gonna be Hoon Thien How/Tan Wee Kiong vs Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan tomorrow...in the last match of the day :rolleyes:

With lotsa lotsa shouting and monkey face expression and monkey movements every time won or lost a point.
But the crowds love him, he get a well round of applause after the game, then laughed by the audience after his coach order him to clear the court and pick up his racquet.

Nice to meet Winnie again at the stadium. CCM/CCE had a slow start against the Indonesian where CCE made more mistakes in the 1st set. However he recovered. They almost lost it to the lanky Indonesians.. but experience prevail.
