    Congrats to Tine!
I think the whole stadium gained a whole new respect for her for slugging it out in the end.

I thought the WD was very exciting with superb rallies at times.

MS is kinda snoozefest because you just know LCW is going to win.

Congrats to HK/MS. Three SS in a row is huge. I think it's safe to say that the gold medal is theirs to lose.

Too bad, KOR couldn't steal a XD title from CHN. Otherwise, it would be great.

    congrats to mighty mouse/mighty pillar!

Now that all the matches are finished, during MS, there was 1 young man in white T-shirt that the camera showed. He stood up in 3rd set to cheer very enthusisatically for LCW. Is that our george@cw?

congrats to kido and setiawan... they played very well..handled the pressure and their skills are superb...but..looking back..i can't help but to wonder that they will only win when kkk/tbh and fu/cai lost...most of the tournaments that they have won, they won it without having to meet these two pairs...but if they met these two pairs, for example kkk/tbh, they never won any of their meetings...the same goes when they met cai/fu...if i'm not mistaken, all the ss that they won in 2007, they won it without beating any of these two pairs (except for HK open)...its as if they could play well when playing against other pairs, but not when playing against these two pairs....hmmm....so...kido and setiawan...they are still behind kkk/tbh and cai/fu...

Who was the one who cheered very enthusiastically for LCW ?

    .
Hahaha... He is probably celebrating somewhere at the moment. :D:D:D

We'll have to wait until he gets home to own up.

Well, you do have a point there. However, you've missed out the very last SS tournament last year in Hong Kong where kido/hendra destroyed fhf/cy in the semifinals. (not to mention china open 2006 where kido/hendra defeated fhf/cy in the final)
And as far as im concerned, its not fair to say "oh kido/hendra only win if kkk/tbh crash in earlier rounds". To me, kkk/tbh had the biggest chance to win this MAS SS yet they let it slip away (AGAIN!!).
And believe you me Kido/hendra are not behind KKK/tbh. they've got World Champion titles and 3 SS titles. And up until now, kkk/tbh have got the same amount of SS titles i think?? of course minus the World titles hehe :D:D

you must ask tbh/kkk or cai/fu why they often lose to lower-ranked players :p ... and MK/HS (i can say) seldom lose to lower-ranked players :D.. your posting is ridiculous:D

Really, why do we need to downplay other players' wins? Kido/Setiawan, esp Setiawan are the best for this tournament and have been for these last few tournaments. Lars/Jonas came a close 2nd save for the service errors.

Whether Koo/Tan is better, or Cai/Fu, or others, we will only know for sure when their resumes are complete and they have all retired. One doesn't downplay other players' achievements if he wants others to respect the achievements of his countrymen.

yes that is a fact. And that is probably because kido/hendra never had the chance, since kkk/tbh have ALWAYS been losing to lower ranked pairs...there you go, a very reasonable explanation ...:D (no offense guys)

Errrr, nick.h, KKK/TBH won 4 SS titles (Msia, AE, Swiss, Denmark)& 2 GP Gold last year. Kido/Setiawan won 2 SS, 1 GP Gold, 1 WC, FU/Cai won 4 SS. Of course Kido/Setiawan now added 1 more to their list to 3 SS.

Well Done to MK/HS. Gradually becoming quite a big fan of MK/HS:D:D:D, though they are not the most good-looking pair among most of the MD pairs, but still they proved that being GOOD-LOOKING isn't a big deal. The biggest deal is win as many titles as you can. Or else beauty is just skin deep. :D:D:D
