I think this is worth of money.

It is just nice and durable. Can last at least 2 game (21 points with lots of smashing, and yet, still in a good condition.)

    Protech Platinum Edition
    Speed at 77
    Price : RM 62.00

Dato A, have you tried Protech World Class? Believe it cost the same.

Last Saturday my uncle's group testing use Youhe Y200 shuttle, quite surprise that price get this quality and feeling. overall is a good shuttle in range of RM45,the speed a bit fast but acceptable, hit feeling is quick nice. 15 point rule just use 1 and half shuttle, another half can use next round ,durability better than RSL no.1 I think.

kkwm83, how do u find quality of black no.1 compare to platinum? i supposed price is about the same right?

RCL Platinum Gold is ok but there is 1 higher grade RCL Titanium Gold which is more durable.

Platinum Gold and Black NO.1 are of the same grade. There is a different model called Platinum which is of lower grade.

Platinum Gold's grade should be enough for you.
Most of my groups here are using RCL Titanium (which is at the same grade),
same style of playing, but still using the old 15pts system.
Shuttle can last from 1-2.5 games.
Previously there is a batch of shuttles having quality issue.
Maybe the one you had might be one of them.

You can try using RCL Titanium Gold, RCL Black Gold or RCL No.1 (same grade) which is selling around RM60-65 depends on places.

He is definitely much more familiar on RCL than me.
I will leave him to explain to you =)
Anyway, the order you put them (from 1 to 4) is from lower grade to higher.

The models in your list are all open models in Klang Valley. And two more popular open models are No.1 and Titanium (you can find them easily in North Malaysia). Regarding the price, I am not sure too because different shops selling at difference prices. But Gold No.1 is around RM55, Black No.1 around RM60, Black Silver RM60-65, Black Gold around RM65.

thanks, uwait.No.1 & titanium is hardly find here...if i would like to know the equivalent base on rcl listed above, which one is moreless same quality to No.1 & titanium?

info, i had tried sealion gold C1101 last nite and the shuttle is good enough for our game...can last 1.5-2 game for each with mostly clears & drops....the flight & the feel also very impressive, imo for smasher like me, where i can easily timing the drop of the shuttle...:p

we had been using rsl classic/protech masterpiece all the while, so it's time to change due to the quality of both shuttle had decreased recently. i think we will continue with sealion and rcl maybe....still under testimonial.:D

Ya, I think a lot of people in Johor think RCL only sells low end shuttles. It was true few years back but for the last 2 or 3 years you can find higher end RCL in Johor. If you cannot find, you can ask kkwm83.

To find similar quality as Titanium and NO.1, you can consider Black No.1, Black Silver and Black Gold.
