I haven't watched a lot of them but I didn't really think that their playing style in the past was anywhere near proactive as they were today.

Had it been so easy, there wouldn't have been only one Lin Dan.

Is it advisable for top players to play 3 SS in a row? How much impact does it have on fitness and performance? Saina, Jorgenson and Srikanth are going to play 3 SS in a row. Supremely fit players like Chen Long are not doing it. Can this also be a factor if they lose in earlier rounds?

Mesmerized. Luo twins were indeed awesome today. Watching them play, I worry about us, the rest of the world. What are we going to do?

China is just so strong in WD! They have just so many quality players in WD.

Agree, I've never seen them play like this before. I think they will become a formidable pair at the rate they are going.

No one really batted an eyelid when LCW kept on playing for years without break. (other than the off season)

It was refreshing to see this Korean WD pair. Very exciting to watch. A somehow different approach to the game. More like the MD is played. Nice to go so far in their second tournament together. I really enjoyed the WD SF and F, at lot more than in other tournaments I have to say!

Today the Luo twins have been more consistent, more penetrating and they have more experience (as a pair).

The key for this Korean pair is to be able to play their gamestyle throughout the whole match in such tough games like this in the future. So stamina will be very, very important to maintain such offensive style for 60+ min. They are good in defense, but if they just defend and not doing creative things in defense (what they are looking for esp. CYN) there are pairs that are better.
But for all non-chinese pairs it is this jinx having to beat at least 2 worldclass chinese pairs on way to victory and we all know how dominating CHN is in the WD especially in the big events!

Yes not only that China also have lots of good MX. That is why China will still continue to rule the world of badminton. They also have lots of good men and women singles too. However it is often good to see how this Chinese players played so well in tournaments. they always entertained us with good skills at the court. :)

If you look at the MX worldranking one could be afraid. I almost only see the CHN flag  :)
I believe they 2 more title contenders now in addition to the pairs playing the final now.
Esp. Liu/Bao could get the no 2 force of chinese MX.

Boring XD match as usual between these two. Z/Z will win anyway, be it 2 sets or 3 sets.

To each his own, I see it as ZN/ZYL vs XC/MJ, and the quality has been high from the get-go.
