December has always been a busy month for me ... not that I do a lot of Christmas shopping. There's just so many parties to attend to. Add to that some Christmas tournaments. I wonder if there's gonna be a Christmas party of BCers in every country. Anyone who cares to initiate? :)

For those thinking of getting a brand new racket as a Christmas gift..

...according to kwun, and i quote DO NOT GET or "stay away from the latest & greatest brand spanking new top of the line super stiff racket models unless you can smash as hard as LinDan...a medium flex racket will make a difference in your game"..instead, get yourself:
    1. A brand new pair of shoes
    2. Get quality shuttles over cheap shuttles for economic sense in a long run
    3. GET A GRIP!....he means badminton grip...
 (more of his article below):

Are BCers worldwide continuing to play Badminton, even on Christmas Day?

    .
As a keen Badminton player, I have never missed playing Badminton, not even on Christmas Day.

Just wondering if BCers worldwide is like us in Australia, continuing to play Badminton including Christmas Day?

So early, Chris. There will be some BCers playing in HK on Christmas Day itself. I might not be one of them though :(

I hope everybody can enjoy their Christmas :)

I don't think we can play badminton on Christmas day in Australia because all the sport centres are closed.

CCC Badminton have always played Badminton on Christmas Day and on New Year Day

    .
Yes, Sport Centres might be closed, but school halls could be available.

Our CCC Badminton have always played Badminton on Christmas Day and on New Year's Day in the past, when school halls have permitted us to do so.

2008 Xmas is in full swing in Melbourne, Australia

    .
2008 Xmas is in 'Full Swing' in our retail shops in Melbourne, Australia.
They are all well-decorated and inviting.

As I walked into the shops, I could hear in their announcements "Spend, Spend, and Spend".

Just noticed that Badminton Central today, 6-Dec-2008, has 30,930 members.

By Xmas 2008, would we be able to achieve 40,000 members?
