yah but just 1 hr wouldn't that be too little to have fun
Is there badminton this coming Monday(May 1)?
Thinking about dropping by that day since I'm done exams. Any B/C players planning on dropping by?
Any OFSAA or Varsity level ppl going? I've been out of hiskool for a few years for those wondering.
For sure i can't make it on Monday, my regular club day is on Mon as well
Zero do you play feather if you do then I may go
Yep, I play feather since I don't have any plastics....lol
Right now it's just me and my friend and his gf. So kinda looking for 4 guys since I want a GAME...
Well I went tonight and I gotta agree with CrazyChinaman. The level there is around beginner to Ontario D's.
Good thing my friends were at least decent(meaning they can do full court clears). I did notice two old indians pretty good for there age though.
nope.. nuclear and ibm went up the one i go to last nite, i doublt if we'll
show up in armadale regularlly cos we've been going to a lotta alternatives lately. But if u like feather, geroge brown got a feather club down there and
u should probaly check them out.
I've been to George Brown alot of times and the only reason i don't want to go is because of the expensive guest fee. That's why I'd rather pay $2 extra to play all day at Mandarin than to go there.
Oh well, guess I'm still on my journey finding a good cheap club....lol
10 bucks and get to play a whole day doesn't sounds all that bad atall
Doug is that you?
I agree that the guest fee maybe pretty pricey for the occasional visitor, but if you become a member (6 month membership - cheaper price of course) it is definately worth it ~$25/month with 3 sessions a week.
And for people living and working around the downtown area it's probably the most convenient place to play given the level of competition.
If you stop by GB sometime make sure you say hello. I'm the chinese guy wearing a headband and oakley eye goggles.
kinda skipped a lot of pages, just wondering if people are still going to armadale community centre... i can sorta get there... mens doubles... or singles, my friend and i might drop by if people show up
looking to play somewhere tonite, i'm oba c level... i'd rather not go somewhere packed and have no competition, not a snob, just want a good workout..
let me know if anyone is going to either armdale tonite or somewhere else...
wow 10 bucks all day playing?? wheres tht?? when?? LOL
Zero was talking bout playing guest at Mandarin
which is not exactly 10 bucks nemore..
last time i went its 12 something dollar for a day guest and u get to play
as long as there are no classes taking up all the courts
On paper u do need a member to sign u in as guest but last couple times i went and they arn't too straight about that
I'm thinking of coming out to one of the drop ins this week. Let me know when you guys are going. I am beginner/intermediate level and always willing to learn a thing or two. Also, am always looking for a partner about my level to train with.
