Are you guys saying that the BG66UM requires a lower tension? I normally play 24 x 26 with NBG98, should i go lower?
some of the others might be better to answer but at the same tensions it seemed stiffer, with it being thinner the general rule would be to lower tensions but i need to test it out further.it might not make a big deal at tensions i am using though. it just feel like it had no power so trying to figure out why. cory
used to use it. but for some reason. now i don't like it anymore. the past 2 times i strung with it, at 22lbs and 24lbs, both cases it had a dead feel. BG80 seems to beat it all all dept. feel, power, durability.
Yes, i tried BG 66 Um with my friend's racket last week. Newly strung. Tension 26. I actually don't like the feeling of the string at all. I had trouble controlling the shuttle. After i change to BG 66, it's different story though..
I got mine from Watdon, 2 years ago .... but AEF has similar to Yonex clamp and price also very cheap. I hv used both Yonex and AEF, and result almost the same.
I received my reel of BG66UM today. Super fast delivery considering i only ordered it last Fri and it was shipped to me in Canada today (6 days). Good stuff! Can't wait to try it.
since we started on Yonex clamp in this thread, for everybody's info: I just ordered 2 from W&D in UK, each at 10.95 GBP plus 5 quit shipping to Canada...that ends up at about CAN$23 each.
