Hey can someone tell me what should be the tension of the cross if i put 22 lbs main on a NANOSPEED 8000 with the 4 knots stringing method ( Is it 2 lbs more then the main like all other rackets or is it different because it is nanospeed?) .
    thx in advance

The tension is the same, but because it's NANOSPEED, you must only use nanofilament strings.

Careful not to put your hand too near those nanofilaments :D

Because if Nanofilament string really existed, it would slice off your hand like in Sci-fi books :D

Just saw Sunrise latest chart in Sportslink today, indicating:

    NS8000
    - Flex = 4
    - Power = 4
    - Control = 5

    NS7000
    - Flex = 5
    - Power = 5
    - Control = 5

Seems like the "grading" is different from country to country

    Nano 8000 2U?

    Hi BF'ers.

I just bought a Nanospeed 8000 2u today and will get it next friday. Anyone knows how heavy this 2U is compared to other 2U rackets (mp100, mp 99, ti10) How is the power and swing-speed???

do you mean heavy, or head-heavy?

    for heavy, 2U is 2U is 2U

for head-heavy, NS8000 should be more head-light than all those you listed
so swing speed should be faster

Strange!! I think the NS8000 should possesed more POWER if compare to NS7000 because of the frame design.

NS7000 frame was minimum air resistance design which allow you to swing faster but less power (during smashing) whereby NS8000 frame design is still same as those old days box shape design.(Correct me if I wrong )

You guys were straying a little from the subject of this thread, don't you think?
This thread is getting long enough without bad nano jokes.

Damn...Im confused again...:crying:...I was actually saving up for the NS8k but during when I was saving, I was reading this thread all the time...and now, I can't even decide anymore. Some people said MP99 had more smash power than NS8k and NS8k is not as powerful as NS7k...im lost....:crying:
