I don't know about the MX70 but it is stiffer than the XP-70.

Yeah, and oh yeah... just ordered 2 more XP70's. :p
So now Eric only has 2 more 86/297 remaining and no lighter ones left. :D

Probably not. But worth a shot. Otherwise I'll have to put it up for resale... anyone in Vancouver interested, let me know. :D

I'm currently contemplating two racquets right now.

    Zspeed and APP..

I haven't tried the APP yet tho, the demo racquet keeps on disappearing lols..

After using it all night yesterday, this APP is a keeper! Will put up a review in a short while.

You were right! It's a very comfortable and user friendly racket. Easy power. And the crazy repulsion off the stringbed is very addictive. :D

Yeah to be honest, the APP was the racket that made me fall in love with the ZM62. You just hold the APP still on the block and the shuttle goes over the net.
Now you just have to get used to how a box frame swings all over again :)

LOL. So what about those two XP 70s? You are so fickle!

Yeah, I know, I'm sure glad there's no law against polygamy with rackets. :p

I'll still use the XP70's for playing with new partners, in case of clashing it won't hurt my pocketbook so much. And also for when I'm not in the mood to smash as much but play accurate placement instead.

    Adipower Pro review

Finally got a chance to play the whole evening with this racket that I got this week. The first time earlier this week didn't work out as I couldn't feel the crispness and repulsion/power of the stringbed. Thinking back, it was probably because the racket had just been strung 2 hrs prior and maybe the strings hadn't settled yet.

But now I can really hear and feel the sharp "paarp" and crispness with each shot and wow is this a lively and repulsive racket! And by lively, I mean it has a nice communicative feel to the hand on strike, allowing you to control the direction of your shot and also modulate the amount of power to your shot.

And by repulsive, I mean it has a highly efficient power output to input ratio. Don't know whether it's due to the reverse tapered shaft or the power box frame (or the zylon and titanium fibres) but I've never had a shuttle explode off the stringbed with such ease even with other rackets strung similarly with ZM62 at 23x24 lbs.

Accuracy is understandably slightly less than a stiffer racket (eg. XP70, MX70) so extra care must be taken when driving and smashing very close to the tape or the lines.

Defense is surprisingly easy with some finger power and a flick of the wrist. Despite a non aero frame, during fast play there's no noticeable lag.

Fast drops and fake smash slice drops are also easy as the head has enough mass to act on the shuttle.

All in all a surprisingly excellent racket for a newcomer to the market. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief at the amount of repulsion from the stringbed. Very addictive.

    Dry specs:
    86.2g, bp293mm, headweight 37.5g

Glad you like it. It surprisingly an excellent doubles racket. That bulky frame is so deceiving and it totally surprises you on how maneuverable it is.

Yeah I thought I had sworn off power box frame since using MX/BS aero frames for the past 2 years, but the power this thing puts out for the wt is surprising to say the least.

I'd imagine at the top end of the spec wt range ie 90g would be better for singles than doubles, whereas yours and mine and kwun's are at the bottom end of the wt at 86.2-86.4g, which is better for doubles.

Did you by any chance measure the BP once strung without an overgrip?
Since I received mine strung, it was 303~304mm and with a G09 its at 290mm

Are you sure? Are you married and has your wife found out how many racquets you have ? If your wife knows you have had such a polygamous spending pattern, retribution will be swift!5

That's a light noodle compared to the super stiff head heavy SW35.
