For me, Aeronaut 7000B feels light like Astrox 88S 4U but i feel more weight in the T joint and shaft than the head. I'm probably not used to the Aeronaut Series because when I played with it somebody gave me a flick serve and I completely missed hitting the shuttle lol. Smash is good if I get the timing right. I'm not giving up on it and will give it a couple of weeks before I decide what to do with it.

Specs on 7000 looks pretty similar to a 4U 88D. Have you used both?

Yes. They're nothing alike though aside from mass at the head. The 7000 has a more solid feel, more flexible shaft, and the 5mm shorter length makes a difference in the overall way it plays.

I'm fine with either but I suppose I'd choose the 88D simply because I prefer stiffer rackets.

    Hello,
If the TB70D is the new name for N7-II White/Gold, does anyone know if the old N7 (which was used by Cai Yun and i believe Shi YuQi was using it too) has a new racket which remplace it ?
I asked elsewhere and I got an answer as the TB40 is the replacement for the old TB 7 Takedown. If we go with this logic, is the TB70 the replacement for the old N7 (first of the name) ?
    Thanks

I'm assuming you mean TC70D. If that's the case the TC70 and TC70D are the same thing. For whatever reason the racket itself won't have the D designation on the shaft.

AFAIK there is no replacement for the original N7.

Did the family line go from Kason C7, to N7, to N7ii, now TC70? Each change being an evolution until the latest renaming exercise. What were the differences and why is the original N7 still so loved?

C7 and N7 were different racquets but similar. N7ii was quite different, being lighter and stiffer. The TC70 is the same as the N7ii.

I personally liked the N7 because it was fairly heavy for a fast frame.

Sometimes I wonder about the size of your racket stock...

I wonder about it myself. It's a kind of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde drama - a look at my stock makes me excited and sad at the same time ;)

But as you found out yourself, I'm willing to let go sometimes. Do you treat my N7-II well, does my little darling feel fine in your hands? ;)

It feels great and made the loss of my N7II Setiawan a bit less sad.
