New Yonex Arcsaber 15Z incoming?

VNB from Vietnam has just leaked some information from Yonex about an upcoming Arcsaber 15Z, which is expected to be released in March 2027 (at the All England?).

It will have an ultra-compact frame and a new stringing pattern. It appears to feature a different grommet type.

A new Arcsaber with a compact head and Z-version...Gentlemen, you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention...
I’m really curious what YONEX uses here for new technologies and materials (or gives old ones a new name :)).

But what surprises me a bit is the country of production, on the photo it is indicated with Taiwan, I had always thought that YONEX produces its high-end rackets in Japan.

It may well be possible that the ad is fake, but honestly, I would find it a pity, I find the concept of an Arcsaber with compact head and medium stiffness interesting.
But there are a few points that would prove your guess:
- It is unusual for a Z-racket to have an average aka medium stiffness, usually they are at least stiff, usually extra stiff.
- There is only one specified weight class, most high-end rackets have at least 2.
- The material list is a bit short.
- The YONEX sign on the cone cap looks strange.
- And as I had already written, country of manufacture Taiwan.

Does the ad actually say something like „Z“? I couldn’t find anything, on the shaft there is something behind the „15“, I can’t see it exactly, but it doesn’t look like a „Z“ imho.

Yes that might be fake. At least, the informations trom the graphics are probably fake.
The guy on the video said that Yonex hinted about the compact frame and new grommets type/pattern. Everything else is still unknown.
 
Weren't the Malay team testing the black out demo new Arcsabers in June? They were apparently upper mid-end rackets tho like nextage series.

There was also a new sharp frame but fully recessed blacked out apparently as well.
 
it looks like the replacement of the Arcsaber Lite based on the colour and design, it's a more budget version than the Play series.

the ad doesn't have an EB Cap Plus in the picture
there's also no mention of a pocketing booster or control assist bumper
i think those are signs that it's more a budget racquet than a premium one.

With how they name things, a Z series would more likely to be an Arcsaber 10.
 
i really don't understand why everyone is taking the ad so seriously, its obviously an AI mockup based on what information that VNB has.
 
a reputable shop in hong kong also confirmed on rednote that there will be an arcsaber 15 released around march 2027, the video says it will have the pro, tour, game and play tier system. currently no information on what the racket will look like.

We already had a compact head, medium stiff Arcsaber. It was called the Arcsaber Z Slash and it was released 15+ years ago..

Gee, I had to check the date of this thread!

Yeah lad, you were right, the ARCSABER Z-Slash was released >15 years ago.
The racket has been sold out for a long time and is no longer available.
But, as I have already written, I would find a new Arcsaber with a compact head, a medium stiff shaft and built with modern materials and 4U weight class very interesting.

Btw the ARCSABER Z-Slash stiffness was rated as „stiff“ not „medium stiff“.

A cow dressed up as a horse is still a cow :p The Z Slash was definitely closer to medium than stiff. But yeah, it was a fun racket concept that the execution needed a bit of fine tuning. I would also be interested if they revisited the idea.
 
Multiple new sources from China claim that it will feature a black and orange decal.

I believe that it will not be a Z model. As there is already a pro series (which isn't included in Z racket series. For example, 100zz doesn't have a 100 pro or the 1000z doesn't have a 1000 pro.)

Unconfirmed by multiple sources: Toma Popov Junior will be using it. This further strengthens my belief that it will not be a Z racket.
