Off hand, do you know how young are Ou and Tang?
just now checked.. Chinese players are 18 and 19 respectively
Hoo is good. Woon on the other hand...
Both the China ladies seem quite even. I am still trying to see who is the front and who is the back court player.
is that Pan Pan? easing into her coaching role. that hairstyle makes her look kinda old...
The longest rally won by CHN but one of the partners hasn't got an efffective smash, mostly plays drop shots.
That long punishing rally must have taken a toll on both pairs, they need a breather.
From the start I expect Hoo/Woon to take the match, now they lost the 1st set.
Both the CHN players can defend very well but only one of them can smash, the bigger one with pony tail(can't see her name on the livestream).
Hoo/Woon to level up
completely different 2nd game. the MAS girls are working much better and more fluid in their combination.
the CHN girls have not much to answer, mostly on the defensive and not taking any initiative.
gameplan is to attack the bigger girl tang. who has a more labored movement and weaker in defense.
The CHN pair seems to have found their footing in G3.
Still maintaining a healthy 6 pt lead by CHN
Only 4 pt lead now
17-13 crunch time soon
Only 2 pt lead, whittled away many
19-15 to CHN
19-17, can they take it?
