we can't be certain it was LD's decision. China national team management makes the ultimate decision.

Rexy: Second stringers can be dangerous

    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=1347396

“A pair can only be considered a threat if they perform consistently well in the first six months,” said Rexy.
“It’s best that I refrain from making any assessment on the pairs from South Korea and China. I will have a clearer picture of them after the next few tournaments. For now, I think, the fight for men’s doubles titles will still be among the established top pairs.”

LD will play AE, TC, WC and AG...if LD doesn't play, Dato should send thank you card and under-table money to LD:p:D

    For these..

    - Of course there is. But i doubt CBA will be affected much. I mean, the penalty is less than $500/person.
    - Fair to the spectators? Hard to say. I know it has affected our limsy as he was already geared up ready to go..Business-wise, i'm sure the KFC and Pizza Hut kiosks in and around Putra Stadium were hoping to have LD in town.
    - Unfortunately the spectators can't do that.
..he won't come for naught..even if LD loses in the 1st round, our limsy would be happy as he'll get to shake LD's hand, take a pic with him and get his signature..

Hey, is it confirmed that the top Indonesian players are not coming to MO? Its a real pity (together with LD withdrawal), otherwise this MO may be a prelude for Thomas / Uber Cup 2010.

It's different technically. Dato' by Sultan, Datuk by Gabenor (Yang Dipertua Negeri). Also got another Datuk or Datok,Dato Seri by the King, that one is higher, in terms of the position (the PJK, PJM thingy). The one conferred by the King I confused which title, you know lah, so many titles
