If China controls badminton, then the new rule where a country can only send up to two players for the singles category in the Olympics will not happen since it will be disadvantageous to them.
Sometimes, your posts lack some substance.

I agree, Aswini is really hot. I saw her off court in a small documentary by the BWF, and I could not believe my eyes

What I learn from LCW's anti-doping saga is this.

Most fans want to see their heroes fight to their death ("Hey! I bought a ticket to see you fight to your death!!")

But the reality is that they are in pain. Just give them a break.

Well, for the WO being against the rules or not, I am no expert, I think to WO the players have to get a doctor to say something is wrong

That doesn't gives anyone the right to lose objectivity and start irrational jingoistic attacks stemming from jealousy.

I am an India fan, which by default means I am a non-XYZ fan (i.e. non fan of all other country).... Just like those who are attacking the WO, I too am extremely envious of China's extreme successes in badminton since the early 2000s.

Yet here I have been attacked by my fellow countrymen for being not jingoistic enough (for failing to defend losses and hide weaknesses, as if thats my duty) and by jingoistic Chinese who feel threatened by every mention of RH or SS.

I urge anyone reading this post, especially India and China fans to desist from attacking me based on para 2 and 3. I know most regular fans from these two countries are rational, well behaved and don't try to enforce their opinion on others.

    Focus on para 1.
Remember this is an international forum and your behaviour is a reflection of your country's culture.

You obviously didn't get my drift, it's not about Intanon or her tactical ploy, nothing of the sort implied. Never mind. Leave it be.

What do you mean by attack ? You can at most say debated or made allegations whether justified or not . . Dont try to play a victim here .

I sure would have preferred Sachin breathing his last as a 100+ year old completing his 2nd or 3rd run in the India whites than retiring at just 40 :-(
And I know Sushil Gautam and me wern't the only one.

We sports fan are obviously irrational in our expectations from our heroes.
Thats what makes us who we are. That passion drives sports at the elite international level.

In badminton or sport in general? I got to think carefully about it before I answer, in case it sets off another storm of arguments and debates.:D

For a start, I think Gronya Sommerville is prettier than Sharapova but one is in bikini, the other is not, so some may argue it's not a fair comparison. :p:D

If Gronya Sommerville is in bikini also I think no comparison is needed, she will win even more against Sharapova then:D
