That doesn't gives anyone the right to lose objectivity and start irrational jingoistic attacks stemming from jealousy. I am an India fan, which by default means I am a non-XYZ fan (i.e. non fan of all other country).... Just like those who are attacking the WO, I too am extremely envious of China's extreme successes in badminton since the early 2000s. Yet here I have been attacked by my fellow countrymen for being not jingoistic enough (for failing to defend losses and hide weaknesses, as if thats my duty) and by jingoistic Chinese who feel threatened by every mention of RH or SS. I urge anyone reading this post, especially India and China fans to desist from attacking me based on para 2 and 3. I know most regular fans from these two countries are rational, well behaved and don't try to enforce their opinion on others. Focus on para 1. Remember this is an international forum and your behaviour is a reflection of your country's culture.

In badminton or sport in general? I got to think carefully about it before I answer, in case it sets off another storm of arguments and debates. For a start, I think Gronya Sommerville is prettier than Sharapova but one is in bikini, the other is not, so some may argue it's not a fair comparison.
