she dropped out of Top10 now. Interesting to see how will she improve her ranking.Because if she is unseeded at Olympics, She may meet any of the seeds in Group stage.

She'll be back in top10 this week I beleive.
She was retrieving well in this tourney (Madrid) but there's no sting in her attack or urgency in her movement.
She didn't play any top player and yet the victories weren't convincing. YJM did great not taking anything away from her, but with this level she'd not even win a game against CYF,AY, ASY or TTY maybe even RI

Singaporean played really well yesterday. Sindhu retrieved well but she did not get opportunities to smash often yesterday. And also I felt game has evolved drastically in recent months. Sindhu' s weakness is her round the head back. Whenever players try to force her to take deep round the head shots , she is struggling. Gregoria mariska has been playing really well nowadays beating Top guns like Chen yufei etc. Finals will be interesting.
By the way, sindhu nowadays training in Suchitra badminton academy where Malaysian coach Hafiz has been included for training junior players. He already mentioned that he is not coach of Sindhu. But he may share some tips to her. Because she has achieved tremendously already.

Sindhu on the comeback looked like a shadow of herself.

Agility and some explosiveness has gone.

Can her body maintain the intensity of training?

During the interval breaks Spain Master yesterday, the coach talked a lot and communicated with Sindhu, it was quite clear that it was caught by the BWF TV microphone, are there any fellow Indian friends here who can explain what they are discuss about?
    Thank you.

Sindhu adding more to her multi million dollars empire with now being announced as the Brand Ambassdor for Maybelline New York along with Super Star Shahrukh Khan's Daughter Suhana Khan I say she has achieved so much already which is a dream for many players that she can even retire peacefully if she wishes to.

2 Oly Medals,5 WC Medals ( Incl Gold ),3 WTF Medals ( Incl Gold ),3 CWG Medals ( Incl Gold ),1 Asian Games Medal and all together over 20 Tittles in her career....Truly a Global Icon and best representation of Badminton for the world she speaks elloquently and is good in english which in Badmintom we had lacked for long of the best players and its finally nice to see a Badminton star being the face of Global brands.

    Congrats Queen !!

Yes. It's her motivation that is the big factor.

She hasn't had many major injuries in the past which is very positive.

Heres the personal profile link of the Queen of Majors with Maybelline New York

    https://www.maybelline.co.in/bravetogether/pv-sindhu

PV has been in New York for over 5 days now and is busy with photo shoots and as per reports Some of her billboards will be displayed in New York City

This will be the first time a Badminton Athlete will be displayed and promoted in the United States with a global brand like Maybelline New York

I hope with this many other Indian girls and girls in general would take up our Beloved sport Badminton because Sindhu has proved not once but more than 3 times that you can become one of world's richest and most famous Female Athlete by not just playing tennis or Basketball but also Badminton and Im proud of her for promoting our sport globally.

Wow that energy and enthusiasm. Really happy to see her looking confident. These small things matter a lot in athlete’s lives especially when things don’t go around your way.

    Finally. :)
Just can't stand the cheerleader she carries around these days.
Really happy to see her this excited. Next few months are very crucial.
Not so sure if she will have a realistic chance in LA'28, Paris seems like the last chance to make an unprecedented hatrick, no pressure :p

I think we need to be patient with Sindhu. She’s just had a new coach and then tournament after tournament. She didn’t have enough time to rectify coz of busy schedule. These next 2-3 weeks would be crucial for her. I don’t expect her to do miracle in WC but Asian Games would be a good chance to see some improvement. I told before she can lose to BZW and RI, no harm in that tough. Tbh, even if she loses and never regain her form, I’ll be satisfied with what she has done for Indian badminton like Saina. And I’ll be with her and hope to see last dance. Let’s see if Hashim can be the choreographer.

She’s been having poor form in recent years and wondering if it’s time for her to retire.
Can’t remember if she’s been in any SF in any 750/1000 tournaments in the last few years.

She brought the whole nation together that day in final of 2016 OG. Whether you follow Indian badminton or not , this type of craze I never saw until that that. Hats off to you PV.

"Lazy" coach.. Whatever may be results, he shouldn't coach top level Indian players! .. Sindhu' team(father) missed to know background of this "Lazy" coach.. Better to join with Gopi Sir soon.
