I know this isn't the best place to ask this question.

I've been having this pain in the front of my hip, after lunging a bit too far for a net shot.

I've been stretching it for a while now, but I'm seeking for a more permanent solution to this problem.

If anyone has had this same problem or similar problem please feel free to chime in and share what you did.

And yes, I know I should be seeing a doctor for this problem.

Addition of sport massage or acupuncture could be beneficial after seeing a physiotherapist depending on the condition.

In other words, you shouldn't tackle this on your own nor prolong the problem.
How long is "for a while"?
A physiotherapist could help you giving advice on how to do stretching the right way according to your condition and your need. I know physio doesn't come cheap in some countries but it's worth it.
