To be fair, there are Soviet prison guards more forgiving than the Ultra's shaft - only racket I've ever used that I could feel refusing to bend!

True that the Titan shaft was so stiff that my arm bent way more.

The racquets were built as per Dink body; when he was skinny and young. :p

Young yes but skinny and Panda seem odd in a sentence together. If you never had the pleasure of meeting Dan running into him would
be like running into a tree. Solid dude and having big wrists and arms he really torques the racket when he hits. So if a few models
were a bit challenging even for him. Would translate to 90 percent of us not having a hope of really flexing them.

Looking forward to the new model as right in my spec's now.:)

Update: the Titans are about 2 weeks from completion. So give it 3 weeks until they are in Panda's paws.

Regarding the design, will post something soon. We were going back and forth on the actual design and it just didn't look right so Panda just decided to go with the old Precision Pro look but in white and gold.

Currently using the in-house racket manufacturer's designer and have found they are too flamboyant for Panda's tastes. :p Adam was the old racket designer for Panda Power but went MIA (hope he's doing well).

^Please look into a "rotational" design, like the current Arcsabers;).

In fact, something like a black-and-white version of the Arcasber 11 would do a lot of people on here just fine, I reckon!

    Pics Mark?
I'd love to see the clasic raw look of the tpros. Doesn't give me much scope for tweaking the weight with my paint removal obsession though.

Thanks for the update, waiting patiently :)

I presume its a NSP. Was It just me or were the non-shared holes not staggered on the ppv2? Presume at this point that's not likely to change on the titan if they are in line too.

Edit: what's deadline for uk pre orders please!

The deadline is the day I send Dink the dosh, pretty much.

As for pics, just picture the prototype Arc10, but as an Arc 11;).

The Titan will have the OSP (Old String Pattern), 5 shared holes on each side.

2 weeks now but who's counting.

I know I am a bit bias as pushed a few Panda Rackets in my time.

This new one has me quite curious thou as gone in a different direction this time.
Head heavy can be tiring, light can be not offensive enough, stiffness can be a board
or a piece of spaghetti, and light usually means lower tensions.

So if you can make something lighter that compensates for a higher balance point and is not taxing,
puts weight in the head to increase power, fine tune stiffness so flexes and still retains accuracy, and
can take tensions from low to high ..........that will interest folks.

Brain or what's left of it says doubles racket all the way . Would be interested to see how it does in Singles but for gals yes but
guys hhhmmm. In chatting with Dan he said one you get the timing it hits hard and will be surprised. So of course that didn't help
    my curiosity [thanks Dan]

Been a while since a new Panda so can't come soon enough. Looking forward to reading people's review and see if he has designed
something that hit the mark for folks here.

Sure Fidget will be looking forward to the racket picture taken on my ugly dining room table as always

Blasphemy! Your dining room table is great, the "patina" really shines through and accentuates the rackets. LOL! :p:D

@ormy4 :No insult was ever intended towards the table you use as a backdrop for racket photos. It is a fine table which happens to suffer photographically from the dim Arctic light that's available in the tundra setting in which you choose to cower.

@Raajneesht : As a known shill for PP rackets, you should take my words with a grain of salt. But from one MD to another, let me say that these rackets are as good quality as those from any big company. The difference being that he gives enough jargon-free description that you know what you are getting. (eg. I will not be getting this new racket because its specs don't suit me. But I still use the first and second PPs I bought 5+ years ago.). Hope you can find one in Chennai. :)

@Fidget Not sure I could handle the fast pace of the East. The excitement of gathering with the lads at Tim Horton's double double in hand looking through the latest Canadian Tire leaflet for a deal on rubber boots, fishing tackle, or a new rain resistant parka would be too much.

Please note I am documenting your post on never owning this new racket for possible future reference. o_O

Dr. Fidget: you think the Titan doesn't suit you. Once you get your paws - I mean hands - on them you'll see it suits you just fine. :p

Have a kid here that weighs 110lbs. sopping wet and he said the Titan specs "didn't suit him"...now he's smashing bombs like he's 180lbs.; all the while still maintaining his defense. :D

That sounds like me and the tpro/tpk. Except the defense part.

Can't wait. Are you leaving the graphics as a surprise?

Just started playing again after about 3 years off (2 new kids) I'm getting back on to playing. I only have 4 racquets left in my bag and I keep going back to the Revelation (the other 2 are 2x Ti-10 and a Precision Pro). I've been out of it a little but are there any new developments going on for DC Badminton? 393 pages is a LOT of pages to go thru :\

Defense on the Titan is relatively speaking, excellent. None of the testers have had problems adjusting so it should be good for the masses.

Graphics: that was the delay in producing the rackets, the graphics desired was lost in the translation. Did not know the type and color of paint used could be a difference of 4 grams. So Panda and the design guy went back and forth, back and forth to the point Panda said, just do it with the lightest weight possible paint while still durable. Panda doesn't even know what the graphics are going to look like. Assuming some sort of light white to very light silver color. Should know in a few days. Will post once it's revealed. o_O
