PV Sindhu loses in 2 games to He Bing Jiao. She had her chances in game 1 but made errors at crucial moments. Indian WS tradition of winning a medal since 2012 ends.

PV Sindhu never had an attacking game. She never had the weapons/accuracy to attack. Otherwise, her matches wouldn't last so long.
She was always a runner. With some good netplay.

The quality of women's singles has gone through the roof, which is why Sindhu can win no more. At least not till she starts hitting the lines in her smashes, instead of 100s of useless body smashes.

But then, if she has not learnt this in 10 years, she isn't gonna learn this ever.

With that, a dark phase of WS badminton is near. Sad how poetic this loss was. BAI is yet to wake up but they’ll have all the time to write #IndiaOnTheRise every opportunity they get.

Don’t know what got into you. You must have started watching her 2022 onwards. It’s funny that you said “she never had weapons to attack”. She always have had the weapons to attack and she has been a runner throughout. A combination of both. Kindly think before writing something like that.

    Chae and Seo are OUT.

Beaten by their compatriots. This is a big upset IMO.

It's always tricky fighting against fellow countrymen as Lee Yong Dae, Zheng SW and others found out in the past.

I'm happy for Kim since he now has an Olympic medal like his mother Gil Young Ah (who has all colours).
