So happy Chennai won. Don't think there was a single match that I didn't enjoy watching, it was a pleasure overall :p

Great coverage of PBL this year. It was rocking! Hoping it to be even better next year.

She played Marin once in the league, Semis Saina and Final Sung Ji Hyun, so she beat Sung Ji twice and lost only once to Marin in PBL!

Even though some indian juniors showed tremendous potential in international tournaments, PBL zoomed in their performances even bigger .

Indian senior players have to look after their positions in the coming future.

    1) Siril Verma ( Current BWF senior ranking - 108 , BWF junior ranking - 13

    Age : 25/12/1999 , 17 years old

He is improving really fast. His game is unique in comparison to all other indian players. Write it down, in one year, he will be a great force to tackle. He stopped playing junior tournaments already and started participating senior tournaments already. Reached Russian GP final already. But his drawback is his stamina.

    2) Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy (MD BWF Senior ranking - 68 , Junior MD ranking - 3

    Age : 13/8/2000 , 16 years old

He is extremely talented for his age. He is really powerful. He is 6 feet 2'' and is improving very fast. Unless senior indian players improve quickly, he will replace them in the senior circuit very quickly. No doubt in that.

    3) Chirag Chetty (MD BWF senior ranking - 68)

    Age : 7/4/1997 , 19 years old

He is currently partners Satwik and is dominating both front and rear court. Clearly , a favourite over any other indian MD players in the upcoming Olympics. Seniors need to watch out.

Unfortunate, Ruthvika was not allowed to play WS. She is improving very fast. She even defeated sindhu in Southeast asian games finals.

Won her first GP title in 2016. She is improving very fast. Hope to see her in tournaments soon.

She is indeed very impressive. And i see that she has played in 2016 PBL, why wasn't she allowed to play this time?

It's a team decision they try and play their strongest players. If Ruthvika S was part of the Delhi team she would have played since their WS had no top 20 players. Vrushali Gummadi was part of Mumbai didn't play because of Sung Ji Hyun playing all matches. Sree Krishna Priya was part of the Hyderabad team but didn't play because C Marin played all matches. Rituparna Das played because Saina Nehwal rested herself in Lucknow's last league match. A team can play a minimum of 2 Indian players in 2 matches and the rest are filled by foreign players.

For this reason BAI is going to have an Indian only league for top Indian junior and senior players to play.
