    Not a fan of Chen Qingchen, but I appreciate how easy she and Jia Yifan are going on these American kids. Can somebody please explain to me what they are doing in the main draw of a Super Series..... sorry, Indy 500... sorry, HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament? They are ranked 129 in the world and there's doubles in the qualifying ranked 74. I'm not sure they are even BWF Tour Super 100 level.

    Is there something wrong in the Taipei camp? Food poisoning or something? Walkover from Chen Su Yu and Lee Chia Hsin moves like she ingested a huge dose of horse tranquilizers (seriously not even joking, it really looks like there's something mighty wrong).

    This USA pair have higher notional/adjusted points : 16733 (from their 6 tours) than rank 74 pair which is have only 15776 points from their ranking.

    It used to be like that before, a pair with higher notional/adjusted points being placed higher than a pair with lower ranking points.

    How do you think Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong could be the 4th seed while they're in 44th rank?

    i now wishes ohori to beat sjh so that SJH and SWH can date for few days in malaysia

    and i also can get more chance to see ohori since gronya loses already.... it's a win-win solution :D:p let's go ohori

    I knew there was a system that basically helped new pairs, but I didn't know what it was called or how it worked. I also fail to see how it applies here. Zheng Siwei/Huang Yaqiong both played successfully with different partners, but Ariel and Sydney Lee did not (I looked it up, they're sisters who've been player wd together for years). What this ranking does for them, is give them nearly a doubling of their points, which they never had (highest they ever had was 10k, current 8k, notional is 16k) and subsequently, they get to cash in on BWF 500 tournament points through their first round exit, which they never earned. Seems weird and unjustified.
    Anyway, thanks for the heads up. ;)
