Here is the statistics I have worked on for days. There are several spreadsheets in this link.

Sheet 1 : List of individual players who won SS/WT500+ titles.
Sheet 2 : List of players / pairs who won SS/WT500+ titles.
Sheet 3 : List of players / pairs who won more than 1 title in a given year.
Sheet 4 : List of WC/OG medalists (singles and doubles)
Sheet 5 : List of WC/OG medalists (individually)
Sheet 6 : List of WC/OG medalists (in general) ---> full credit goes to @yuquall in this particular spreadsheet.
country : List of countries who have their players won SS/WT500+ titles.

This is for Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 only (rightmost column):
    BOLD : The players/pairs won the WC/OG
B+I : The players/pairs only won the WC/OG in the particular year.

If there is any statistics about the players, feel free to post it here.

From the Sheet 5, Zhao Yunlei has more WC/OG medals than Lin Dan. These two players have the most OG/WC gold medals combined. However, Lin Dan is apparently more famous and widely considered as GOAT. Zhao Yunlei's double duties may contribute to her OG/WC medal collections.

Ugh, seeing the list from Sheet 5 makes me think that minions still have a long way to go to be remembered as the legendary pair. Just one gold medal doesn't help. It will not be easy for minions. I hope they can win WC this year and produce great results in the later major tournaments.

Yes exactly and WC 2019 will be crucial for them. They could be like LCW with crazy amount of SS win, but no gold in WC/OG

Well at least they can't complain of having some LD getting in their way.
