Poll: For or against a 15-minutes timed session of games at CCC Badminton

Hi CCCers,

Lately, there is again a suggestion for us to change our social games format.

The suggested format is for a 15-minutes timed rotation.

chris can i make a suggestion with regards to matches and game time etc. I feel that on any week, someone misses out or gets the short end of the stick when it comes to match times, as well as some of the more advanced players feeling like their games end much faster than the beginners. In my experience, working with a timing system solves these issues. As a club, we are all friends, and it is clearly suboptimal for some people to miss out whilst others play for longer. i have suggested this before, and will suggest it again. A TIMED organisation, for example a bell going at 15 minute intervals. that way, new scoring or old doesnt matter at all, and there would be no arguments over court/playing time.

x2, i agree with that. Chris should consider Greg's suggestion, end up no argument on court time.

Hi from Canberra. Did this idea get up? I'm keen to find out, as we play social baddie, and end up with tedious splits between the A team type players and us B teamers - much rather same time games with enforced rotation.
