This pair become a promises XD sector now, more experience and more collecting tittle, makes this pair more stronger. I watch their spirit in court, video match show increasing their confidence day by day. This pair can handled another top pairs too. Stay focus, always improving technique, effectiveness and prevent for injury. And then this pair worth to have nice medal in Rio 2016. Good luck Praveen/Deby..INDONESIA !

They better win a couple GP and SS this year before peaking in the Olympic. They are #2 pair after Tontowi/Natsir.

That was a good prediction. Indeed, they won.

Anyway, I wonder what rackets did Praveen and Deby use during INDIA master?
I knew Praveen used ZF2 and VT80 E-Tune before.

Yup..this pair grows up day by day, their technique, mentally and also adaptating tournaments around. Praveen skills gets better everyday. We can see in youtube, the person uploader video match review named the tittle "Praveen Jordan new king smash". This video uploaded by Alfian, and I've already watched. We can see Jordan was one of best hard hitter player in early days.

indrg : Just like in early FHF being professional players. Jordan has power, speed, accuracy to played large part in XD strategy. But, this pair sometimes lack of perform, don't know what cause of. I think coach has a lot of things to do, more innovative, creative to analyze performing, talk to talk persuative makes them comfort.

Given their talents, I don't understand their roller-coaster form.

Compared to INA No 1 pair, they are a much faster pair and other than experience, they are pretty much comparable.

But looking at the last 3 tournaments, this pair took too long to adapt and counter new opposition styles, and did not look comfortable once behind by a sizable margin. Top pairs would have a quicker response.

Congratulations indeed to Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto for their maiden SS title and what a huge title it is, winning the prestigious All-England SSP title straight away! What a load off their shoulders, with their first GPG title in India early this year, followed by their first SSP title in the All-England.

I was very impressed with Jordan/Debby's performances in both the SF and F over the weekend and they totally deserved the title. Debby showed her maturity and she is the leader of this partnership, with her constant encouragement and calm influence on the court. She constantly reminded her younger and more emotional partner to be calm and patient in the All-England Final match against the higher-ranked Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen. That is really the mark of a true leader!

Debby's defense has improved tremendously and that was acknowledged by Gill Clark too. As for Jordan, his smash has become more lethal and directed. Not only that, he also won many points through his placements to the rear court. He still has the tendency to commit unforced errors, but hopefully with Debby's on-court influence, this problem will not be too much of an issue.

I believe this pair will qualify for the Rio Olympics and they have a solid chance of winning a medal. The key is consistency and support for each other when the chips are down.

As I predicted, this pair has a great value promises achieve to reach. This pair just in the part of tittle hunting, and they're absolutely ready for all trophy/medals to collect. Their homework are consistency, preventing injury, patience, and increasing intelegency to read the game well. Congratulation for this pair in excellent final result in All England 2016. This why I made the thread for this pair. Winning is part of patience step result. Keep It On and On. May God bless this pair for their glorious story of a lot victory. We're proud of you..

I met this pair once. And from talking to them, I can say that their problem is Praveen's immaturity. And in all England, that have been solved or at least surpressed by Debby's leadership. Well Debby is sometimes too timid in the court, which is clearly different now.

He have the bazooka smash.......boom, boom and boom......

According to Indo badminton fans, as long as he stay calm, focus and reduce his unforced errors, he and Debby can beat anyone, he is so young (age 22).

As for Debby (age 26), she is a good motivator to the younger Praveen, according to their coach during the AEO semi-finals match against ZN/ZYL, Debby smiled to Praveen and she told him "Saber yah" (be patient) when his smash went out, she did not blame Praveen for his error but she calmed him and motivate him to do better.
