Thank you, I thought I was the only one who thought this too, but people are so quick to jump on the repaint wagon without considering all the facts.
One thing is for sure - if Yonex really managed to have him test and decide for a specific racket and then produce a bunch of repaints for him in such a short period of time, then that would be the final proof that we're dealing with professionals here. Cause that would have been a seriously challenging schedule if you put it in modern day business terms.
And have you guys noticed that since his switch from 88D to 99, he's hasn't won that many titles... Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
But he won the World Championship I don't like the AX99 though ... However the AX99 suits his current game better the game where he is on attack. And the AX88D suited his defense game better just when he came back and was defense mode only 'Mamori' as he himself would say. Coincidentally I prefer his defense game better than his attack game.
I agree with you that it could be that SWH use a real VTGZ. On the other hand we all know that Yonex can have the retail ones, pro spec ones similar to KRP/MYP version (heavier, slightly stiffer) or custom ones like for LD. After a long time of such hoaxes of the brands I don't believe anything immediately like it seems, but I don't have a proof for this one. Which leads me to the question if SBC and SWH both picked a regular VTGZ, why nobody else ever picked it across all Yonex sponsored players?
In honestly, SWH really boost the marketing of VTGZ though.. Nobody care so much about this model before and now it's a different story..
what i'm wondering is how the hell does this chewing gum frame hold SWH's tension???? And if he fancies that kind of spec why didn't he used TK6000 before? sound quite similar, very user friendly and yet head heavy rackets.
Hate to break it to you bro.... infact both glanzes were always recommended at 22. It’s 22. TWENTY TWO. lol. http://www.yonex.com/sports/badminton/products/badminton/racquets/voltric-series/voltric-glanz/ But watching the whole match again yesterday, I can conclude (with my shitty eyes and my shitty stand) its a real VTGZ. That damn stringbed is so huge it’s like a Mongolian plateau and making the YY stencil look lost and miniscule in there. Unlike the Z’s with their compact head. But yeah... just me. Justtt me.
I noticed the mongolian plateau too. Yeah even if the recommended max tension is 22. The real max tension will probably be higher at risk of the frame breaking with mishits ... but SWH wouldnt care anyway ...
