Professional players and their racquets

There are stuff like Auraspeed Cai Yun, Brave Sword Lee Yong Dae, HX Man etc. But I don't get signing retired players. It's pure marketing. They won't even play competitively with these rackets lol.
Especially since anyone that knows the sport can see other details. Like Huang is holding a ARS 90F....that racket is almost discontinued at this point and it's also medium flex...my daughter uses it because it's so whippy. Any professional player would be using something stiffer then a medium/soft flex racket..

Exactly my same thought, that racket is definitely not for HYQ. Even using her non master hand that will be too wippy for her. She has been using Astrox77 for the longest time.

But maybe good publicity can have more meet and greet session. Have some XD private championship. I'm sure if Victor uses their name to release a whole new range of products its gonna sell.

Victor is more willing to do small runs of gimmick stuff. Like the the Marvel and Starwars series....now the BraveSword 12 Pro!

For Yonex the closest they got was a collaboration with Starbucks.

IMO Yonex is mainly focus on badminton fanbase hence we hardly see Yonex colab with any other brands.
Meanwhile Victor not only focus on badminton fans but also non badminton fans who will collect merchandise related to the character of their interest e.g. Spiderman, Marvel & Starwars series hence generating additional income to Victor.

Seems like Indonesia's Daniel Marthin and Fikri have moved from Li Ning to Yonex. Both using 88D Pro 3 and ArcSaber 11 Pro respectively.
