    Don't be too obsessive about hygiene (to be too clean)

    .
    Lately I have been told - "Don't be too obsessive about hygiene (to be too clean), or your body would lessen its natural immune system".

    Reference:

    I wonder how true this quotation is ???

    “Don't aim at success. The more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself. Happiness must happen, and the same holds for success: you have to let it happen by not caring about it. I want you to listen to what your conscience commands you to do and go on to carry it out to the best of your knowledge. Then you will live to see that in the long-run—in the long-run, I say!—success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to think about it”

    Don't aim at success

    .
    The above quote reminded me of what Albert Einstein once said: "Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value."

    1) I like that last one, pcl99. :)

    I suspect that, by "pretend", Ali meant conduct yourself like the best, rather than 'buy all of Lin Dan's kit but really stink on court'. ;)

    2) Mark Twain was a veritable quote-machine. But here is just two:

    "To succeed in life you need two things: Confidence and Ignorance."

    "Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest."

    To be, or not to be......

    .
    Almost like "To be, or not to be......";
    the opening phrase of a soliloquy in the "Nunnery Scene" of William Shakespeare's play "Hamlet".
