Hello. I am relatively new to the forums but I would like some advice and help with making a decision. My school's badminton season starts in March and I'm interested in buying my own racket. I asked the coach and he recommended the HL Aero 700 or the G-5 (our team uses HL). I'm still relatively new at playing since last year was my first year, and I lost all of my matches so I would really like to improve my strategy and game. Which of these rackets would be best for an inexperienced player? Please include any other advice you might have for me. Thanks so much!

No racket will make you instantly better. Look in the Training forums on what to do to get better. Work on your footwork (fast feet).

the only thing I can recommend you:
grab any GRAPHITE racket you can afford
buy the one with medium or flexible shaft, and a little bit head heavy

don't buy an expensive racket, you don't need it yet
it's better to buy a good shoes, good string at the right tension and grips
    then improve your techniques

how old are you, and I notice you are a female (that's very important info as usually people will recommend a stiff racket which is for male)
    how about your budget?

I checked the price, HL Aero 700 would cost you $50
I have no idea about HL brand and I cannot find many information about their racket specification online
